Out of the 30m shares I think there is only 5m of the raise happening in the UK .

Most investors in my mind would just add to their holding , not dump and cash in for a quick 15p .

I could be wrong , but this will be hugely oversubscribed imo , and only a minority of holders will do the abrbitrage .

Any shares sold on the Naz that make it over to the Uk , will be at a premium due to the MM's taking their cut surely .

I'd be wary of selling a huge amount and expecting to get them back on the open market for much less than £1 .

The time frames are so short - FDA RNS could land within weeks . This isn't some fundraise for a 2 year program . We are literally within sight of a partner holding a chequebook .

They can never say'never' , but I think they see this as the last big raise . Also giving Finnish and us Uk investors the chance to be part of it . The low price makes it even more of a gift . Roll on summer and let the newsflow continue .

I'm in the same boat Itsall . The 85p folks won't be selling at 86p , so I expect to be buying at 95p- £1 anyway after the event . I had 5k just now at 99p , and if it goes lower over the next few weeks , I'll average down with another 5k.

Sub £1 is a steal - so you can only do what you can do . Good luck all

85p would have been nice , but adding at £1 ( like I will be )won't make much difference if you are happy to wait for events to unfold . We'll all be winners . Ironic that Cov , who called it right , could now get back in and make the most profit out of probably all of us lol .

Yes 85p is tough . But not uncommon . AVCT placed at 50p ( down 50%) . Plenty of others . I should have seen it coming , but the FOMO in me is strong . I didn't want to be hanging out of the share in case some unexpected good news landed .

So I'm just sucking it up , and will add more in the next few weeks . Might as well take advantage .

Any news after the 18th too will only help push the SP . The only thing holding the SP down recently was uncertainty on funding . If you sell at about £1 after the 18th then you need your head looking at .

Once they have the funds - then the exceptional P2 clinical data and FDA verdict should be all a partner requires to sign the dotted line . That could be a matter of months away - or less .

I remember the offer at £1.07 years ago , and the SP sat at £1.00 right through that period . So I never took part as it was cheaper on the open market . But the proposition back then was much longer time scales ( developing Bex ) . Now we have a very short timescale ahead of us . I hope we do get to 90p ish as I will load up more .

What we don't know is how many will be satisfied with a quick 10-15% profit , knowing whats coming down the line .

I have a feeling that it would be less than some think .

Just checked , and my broker isn't able to offer the REX service to me .

Today I'd get about 96p for my shares . Hardly worth the effort given the amount I'd buy . A 10p shift in the SP from these depths isn't the end of the world . Sods law if I sold , then some buyout rumour would drop or clinical update and that would blow me out of the water .

I'll hold on , and if it does drop a bit , I'll just load up on the open market .

Been away for a few days - missed all the fun . Happy that they are pushing hard to get P2 done themselves . Disappointed but not surprised at the placing price - that's just how it is out there in the market . I will be looking to add here , once I've found out of my broker can take part too . Either way , 85p via the offer or £1 on the market at the moment - it gets us to where we need to be .

This surely has to be the last fundraise - so personally I am going to take full advantage .

Is Finland really pro-innovation – Pharmaceutical innovations end up abroad to get them to market.

The huge volume on Nas recently and the big swings feel like tremors before an eruption . We are normally a dusty share with cobwebs on it for most of the time . So for so much to be going on , I'd say we'll know shortly . Either way , Faron is a prize that Big Pharma has its eye on . The value of my holding is bouncing around like crazy . Please someone just buy us out for $4 billion and lets move on lol .

Shush !WE don't talk about the 'H' word here anymore .If you scan recent RNS's you'll understand why the SP fell to £1.20 odd . It was a great buying opportunity . Huge overeaction due to understandable jitters around small Biotechs and funding . Either way , framework is now in place for the company to complete P2 , whether through a fundraise or partnership . FDA guidance on next steps is crucial , but the data is pretty much nailed on , so its just the finance that needs sorting . As others have mentioned , thats mostly why we are swinging up and down at the moment as market can't seem to decide if we are going to be partnered before end of P2 , or not . Faron have the framework in place to proceed alone ( through fundraising capacity agreed at AGM , so we won't get another hiccup this year ), but I think Juno wants a partner . And by all accounts , there are multiple parties in discussion . Whatever happens could happen very quickly .

Watched the video - very informative - asking some sensible questions on what can happen in the near future - what population Bex can help , how realistic is approval , and what it means for patients . Dr Zeiden from Yale was very honest in his opinions . In his mind accelerated approval could happen with perhaps only 40 patients on our MDS study . In cases like this , simply achieving CR in enough patients and good survival length would be enough for FDA to approve where there is unmet medical need . One drug was approved with only 18 patients for a very small subset (3%) of these patients ( and 3% was still considered commercially viable - hence Bex is VERY attractive commercially )

Tuomo Patsi also very optimistic ( obviously ) , but he has a very distinguished standing in medical field , having launched azacitidine back in the day with Celgene I think - so he knows the field and has a solid reputation to maintain.

So overall - the data is impressive - the survival data is great - safety is excellent - patients can actually take the drug - and with a few more patients giving similar responses , the FDA should have no trouble passing approval in this area that is crying out for treatment .

Question is do we get to that 40 number alone - or does someone step in beforehand ?

Oh well , best of luck . The spreads shown on sites like this are always just a guide until you do a live quote . I had no probs topping up last month. In the old days , getting live quotes for large sells here could be an issue though, although recently they (Lloyds) will quote me live for really big amounts . That's a good sign in my books .

Like Itsall says - you don't stick an invention like this up for such a prestigious award if there's a chance it will fall flat in failure . Its almost like a stamp of approval from this organisation , and highlighting just what a game changer Bex is about to become . I think the confidence that was lost in the market with those financing jitters has pretty much gone now it seems - so it's as if we are starting back from where we were a month or so ago - but with a new CEO , and much more tangible targets and objectives this year . Whether or not they win this category , it's a fitting tribute to the pair , who rightly deserve it .

A new treatment that recruits the body’s immune system to fight cancer more effectively was developed by Sirpa and Markku Jalkanen. Their treatment offers new hope to patients resistant to other therapies.

Killing almost 2 million people annually, cancer is Europe’s second most common cause of death. Myeloid leukaemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) are two types of blood cancer with typically bleak outcomes and few modern treatment options. However, clinical trials of the Jalkanens' invention, Bexmarilimab (also known as Clevegen), have produced remarkable results, demonstrating a 50% remission rate in patients with AML and MDS resistant to other therapies. New data reveals a high response rate of 87.5% and a long-lasting reduction of cancer cells in patients for whom chemotherapy had already failed.

Bexmarilimab works by blocking CLEVER-1, a protein found in certain white blood cells. With CLEVER-1 receptors switched off, immune-suppressing cells transform into immune-activators, recruiting other cells for a joint attack on tumours and malignancies. Bexmarilimab's unique approach sets it apart from other therapies, but by boosting the body's natural defences, it can also enhance the effectiveness of therapies commonly used to treat solid tumours and blood malignancies, opening up the benefits of immunotherapy to more patients.
