I/V is 3 times more effective than S/C at delivering the goods
And also in a quicker manner.

Hopefully on Tuesday we will get an update on our trials .
This Iranian one looks like they were treating hospital patients but not at the real deaths door end of things ( no deaths or on mechanical ventilation) , plus it was given with the usual ****tail of hydroxychloroquine and lopinavir/ritonavir .
But either way , IFN Beta1a is getting a good run out in these trials , whether with SNG via nebulizer , injection , or through IV with us . Nobody is halting trials , if anything they are being expanded , which bodes well .
Like testing kits , there's room for a lot of players in this field , and I have a feeling that IFN Beta 1a will come good in many areas , be it preventative , or theraputic .
Faron have so much knowledge about this drug - I'm looking forward to Tuesday to see what their take is on developments .
We are still waiting on manufacturing updates for T , plus that arbitration with Rentschler ( 6 months now since that was instigated).
Lots to catch up with on Clevegen too - manufacturing sorted - finance sorted - Matins approval to continue- sorted . Recent huge extra grants from EU / Finnish bodies - sorted.
Anything juicy will have to RNS'd on Mon/Tues .
Moving towards H2 and out of the hat eating window and into that promised shareholder value window :-)

Been mulling over yesterdays announcement of 2.5 million euros from the EIC .
Faron have already raised 14 odd million , plus have another 1 million grant from Finland business consortium .
So before this , they already had enough funds to crack on with the MATINS Clevegen program .
Yet the EIC deem it fit to give them another 2.5 million ?
The criteria that they had to meet was obviously good enough for the EIC to throw more money at it , at a time when public spending is surely to be reigned in for the foreseeable future .
So what did they see in Farons application ?

We know they have applied for Fast Track Status with FDA - decision on this should be any day now .
EMA usually match this with their version .
In the RNS Faron state : this highly competitive grant, which will support our acceleration of the MATINS trial.

Acceleration - usually means fast track
So is that going to be the next bit of news that allows this extra money to help with the fast tracking ?

The public are starting to get Covid news fatigue ( me included) - same old stories of drug hopes and breakthroughs mentioned on the news just don't cut the mustard anymore . People just want to get back to their lives .
The fickle followers of Covid stocks have bolted looking for the next rainbow during this lull, look at NCYT , SNG etc .
But nothing fundamentally has changed with these companies and Faron is holding up pretty well in comparison to some .
It's amazing when you think about it , that a virus of this type hasn't occurred at this scale in our generation already , given global travel and overpopulation .
Companies like Faron are at the coalface of this industry , discovering new therapies for respiratory and vascular disease.
And they will play a crucial role in getting us out of this situation .
Next week we will get some more info , not sure if it will be the big news , that may well just come out of the blue one morning at 7.00 am , but they are the right company , with the right science at the right time .
100% trust in management to be doing the right things for shareholders too , which is rare .

Big business doesn't like science getting in the way of selling drugs .
They must be well peeved , since this article below on 5th May saying how they were importing 50 tons of raw materials to their facility in the UK to produce bulk amounts of the stuff . Oh dear - still , probably lots of people still getting malaria , but apparently it doesn't even work very well for that any more .

Yes Try , its hard to be in the right place at the right time . EUA will come good now I'm sure , just may take a while , and maybe not before this lifts off . Started in shares with a real long term outlook , then after losing about half my pot decided i needed to be more proactive to avoid losing the other half . Through luck and gut feeling , back to original pot size now ( took a year ).
I now have 2 serious investments , and some spare dosh to play about with .
I'm about as deep in here as I can be without worrying .
This will pay us rich rewards I'm sure . Just need to hang in :-)

Another day in holding pattern -
Been very quiet in the media on drug development too.
Lots of boffins will be getting their eyes down for some serious data analysis this month and next.

Well I dumped one share this morning and split it between Faron & GGP.
June it may explode up , or just fizzle if no cats let out any bags
But long term , I'm happy to by at same level that the big II's did .

Yes it does seem that way , but as far as SP goes , it may provide us with 51% of some value as opposed to 100% of nothing , which is what Dugbe had become .
The fact that it is keep apart from main Hummingbird business will at least ringfence the main cash cow.
Management lining their own pockets something we have become accustomed too , but have to swallow it so long as they can get some value from it for us shareholders. ( note correct use of swallow ;-0 )
