A lot of data here , but the organisation overseeing REMAP have released data on the approx 11,000 patients in UK admitted to critical care up till May 21st 2020
Nothing on the treatment trials obviously , but interesting reading as they compare Covid 19 against just viral pneumonia cases as to the numbers who needed advanced respiratory support ( 71% against 48%).
Page 19 has a good summary of data .
From what I can glean , it just shows that of those admitted , The Covid patients have required longer stays in ICU (10 days against 6 for pneumonia ). Higher chance of dying ( 44% against 22% for pneumonia).

Nothing new I suppose , but reinforces what we suspected as to the acute need for a treatment during that ICU period .

First post for me here I think , despite buying in during December .
Not a massive holding , but enough to be excited about if it goes the way many hope .
I sold about half at 5p thinking I'd done well .
Fingers crossed the other half does a bit better .

Hopefully the Fins continue researching by reading the follow up RNS's up to current date regarding the complications of corticosteroids in this treatment , and in use in general for patients suffering with ARDS and lung trauma .
If a clinician involved in REMAP or Solidarity , dosing patients , was not aware of the corticosteroid issue , they would be majorly at fault . It has been published widely , not at least by the WHO themselves , who strongly advise against use of corticosteroids in these cases .
As one swallow does not make a summer , One RNS does not make a whole story .

Thanks Zumzum , what you say makes total sense .
My feelings also are that such an article , ie an in depth biography woven into a very current interview with the man himself , would not be appropriate if things were heading south behind the scenes .
Markku is reflective on his journey , and would not be comfortable putting himself in the spotlight , like you say , infront of his whole country , if he were not supremely confident that it was nearly ' mission accomplished' .

The drilling at Komana East looks like it will produce the anticipated results , making a start on extending the life of mine .
That in my mind has always been the biggest factor that needed addressing .
Once investors can see that the cash cow has a few more fields to graze in , it will really move .

Maybe thats why despite the green light to move on with cohorts - we haven't seen major updates to the FDA trial page ( since 3rd April)
