On my MBA course I learnt about the S curve. The idea is you exit at the top of the S. At the moment I think most would agree we are at the bottom of the S (ie its fallen back a bit). Hang on in there folks or you might regret it!

If you look back to when diesel engines and refuelling infrastructure were introduced it all happened very quickly globally. ITM Motive is just one arm of the ITM potential. Renewable energy surplus storage is a game changer for the business case for solar, wind etc. As I said in my last post conventional wisdom on SP calculations using order book may be too conservative an approach here. It is more akin to a mining stock in some respects.

I am not sure that conventional wisdom will apply given the unique circumstances surrounding this situation. Tomorrow will be v. interesting.....

If you think about what happened with cryptocurrency what is happening here does not surprise at all. It took a while but H2 value is now firmly on the radar.

Encouraging start to the week but short term fluctuations are not really relevant. The overall prospects and strength behind the case for ITM given global demand for clean energy are what makes this such a good long term opportunity for investors.

Establishing more headway on H2 bus projects is great news. Pity it is not happening here at the same rate but fairly typical sadly!

Sadly I think you may be right. Btw it took 3 years for ASOS to go from £2 per share to £22 and it trebled after that at one point. A little bit of the magic dust here could work wonders!

Current market cap of ITM is c1% of Shell. Anyone's guess as to how the upward curve will look as oil stocks get displaced. Whatever the shape, a good sized holding now is unlikely to disappoint long term imho even accounting for dips along the way.

Thanks sb - I had lost track of what JCB are up to. It seems they have been hedging their bets to get the best commercial outcome from competition. The size of the overall market going forward should allow space for competition, though hopefully ITM will become a major player in H2 bus fleets early on as it is a massive market.

Clearly it would benefit Bamford if ITM supply RYSE with technology. Hard to imagine they have suddenly developed their own capability or found a better source while retaining such a large stake in ITM. Either way with Shell and Linde as partners and ITM Motive now underway we have plenty to be optimistic about.

I agree Doug. Plus you only have to look at the history of Hinckley Point C and other recent nuclear projects to see why this options is so much more attractive to Gov't ministers.
