We can pretty well take it as read that within the next few years there will be a Parliamentary enquiry into the billions wasted on carbon capture projects and the enquiry will have a report date about a decade into the future. Accountability zero. Objective achieved - pockets lined.

No doubt £billions will be wasted on spurious carbon capture companies and projects in short order as with PPE. They are popping up all over the place in a feeding frenzy.

The Govt seems to be clinging on to energy dependency for dear life - they can't get enough of it. First fossil fuels, then nuclear energy and now carbon capture to keep our dependency on ff going as long as possible. Pathetic and dangerous to say nothing of slowing progress in home grown renewable energy that we are in control of and that will protect us from being held ransom by foreign ff suppliers.

There won't be just one party and future one's will be bigger and better. Hydrogen and co2 are the building blocks of life. Finally, h2 will be recognised as the holy grail for future development.

We would be doing a lot better had it not been for the Govt being led down the carbon capture, heat pump and nuclear energy rabbit holes by vested interest lobbyists. Unfortunately, like the billions wasted on HS2, ppe and track and trace, by the time they come to their senses more billions will have gone down the drain. So frustrating to watch the inevitable.

And if there are sanctions on China.....

I am banking on the demand growing at such an exponential rate in a few years that even if you made electrolysers in your garage you would be turning down desperate customers.
