Wind power got off to a very bumpy start - remember what happened to Vestas. Then when the knockers were finally defeated, the growth was exponential. I think there will be a similar pattern with hydrogen. It all seems glaringly obvious but its human nature to 'know better' and resist change.

I looked at the ITM-Linde website recently as well, including the news section. I suspect it gets very few hits and that there is no-one assigned to actively maintain it. For ITM's future with Linde, clearly a lot hinges on how the Lingen project pans out. Even the announcement of that did not appear to come under the JV banner and looked like 2 separate entities were involved; curious.

The encouraging thing is that there are some very large projects in the pipeline! This should accelerate in the years ahead, particularly since so much renewable energy is being wasted because of lack of storage capability.

So much better than nuclear. Faster implementation and less vulnerable from a security and delay viewpoint.

Thanks for your responses TM and good point JM re Singapore being alkaline. I guess we just hope for a more positive long-term outcome than we had with Shell refuelling and JCB. It seems they got a lot more benefit from the partnership than ITM (cuckoos in the nest?). SNAM seems very quiet too. Lost track of what they bring to the party.
