My advice to you would be to read the most recent Tomco RNS releases, there is also lots of good information on the various websites of Tomco, Valkor, Petroteq and Quadrise, plus several interesting reports from Proactive Invester.
You will then know what is going on and also see that the BOD bought in with shares a lot higher than the present price GL
While looking through the Valkor website last night, I came across this paragraph and it was interesting to see, during tests, that they have already produced up to 300bopd with no sulphur content, I believe this is just one of the reasons for Valkor to negotiate a deal with Tomco.
In 2018, Petroteq entered into a management services agreement with Valkor, to bring Valkor’s process engineering experience in to help the design process. The work began with a redesign of the back end to increase reliability and capacity, resulting in a 12 API, ultra-low BS&W, heavy oil product with almost no sulphur. Further work continued through to the end of 2019, to improve the middle section efficiency for sand and oil separation while reaching steady production at rates as high as 300 bopd.
In order to complete the necessary upgrade to the POSP needed to be able to demonstrate its commerciality, as well add the Quadrise MSAR process, and to be able to run the necessary tests, Valkor has taken over the management and operations of the POSP under the Work Order. Any IP developed as result of the upgrade and from the tests to be run will be the property of Greenfield.

I would have thought there was an opportunity to send samples to QFI, prior to the upgrade of the POSP, hopefully they will be delivered soon after re start up on the 30 November, a successful MSAR outcome would be a major positive to this project
Placing to raise funds as we all know causes concerns for every investor and I completely understand these concerns and comments mentioned recently with regards to Tomco’s past history.
The reasons for the placing for me, is the most important factor, I have been invested in various Aim companies that have continually raised funds through Placing, just to survive and pay the BOD rather large salaries and bonuses.
I look at this recent Placing with the comments that the funds will be used to further the future plans of Greenfield energy, purchase the various licenses, complete the upgrade and to obtain the competence persons report to demonstrate the commerciality of the POSP process, leading to a suitable site and obtain the necessary funds.
The big plus in my opinion is the JV with Valkor, as they will for sure be pushing all the right buttons.
Interesting times ahead
Another positive tweet from site
Petroteq Energy is happy to bring you some updated pictures of our facilities as we set to launch full production in two short weeks! We’ll be updating you later today with much more. Enjoy!
Unusual situation really, as Tomco & Valkor footing the bill and carrying out all the modifications to the plant and Petroteq taking all the praise. There obviously making good use of the PR benefits, fair play to them.
Interesting read, as most of this relates also to the future of Tomco / Greenfield. I also noted that Petroteq talks about a proposed new 5,000 bopd production plant to be built, then another
5,000 bopd parallel plant to be built one year later, but Greenfield plan to build a 10,000 bopd production plant from the start GLA
