That's not correct Kels, opex does not include on going costs to maintain field production, they beed to be separated on the balance sheet for tax reasons. As you can see from Zens current fields they still need extensive capex just to maintain 350 bopd. Also one field is not producing anything so again there is money to be spent delivering production by 2020.

You have to take into account how much capex the fields need per year to keep up production. Whoever owns it will have G&A and taxes so its not all profit. Yes ultimately its not about current production its how much they are paying per barrel of 2P and 2C.

At a guess to really increase production they need to drill new wells when the new rig arrives. For the Z field I think they will get Z21 and 28 flowing but it's how long they can keep the integrity of the well for. Still hopeful Z21 will deliver as it would be very difficult to raise money otherwise.

We would probaly issue at least 30m shares in 2018 just to carry on with current operations. If they can use the cash flow from the new asset plus Z21, 28 and the ESP program to fund then I think if equity can take 50-60% max then its a good deal and we can be producing nearly 2000 bopd by mid year including Italy.

Judging by the SP its either a very tight ship which historically it hasn't been or there is alot longer to wait for any real news. That said its still March and news isnt expected till well into April.

Bk2 is a sideshow, BTL and how it responds to the shares/warrants that 'now' are tradeable is the key driver. Hopefully Friday showed how its going to go, but we shall see, expectation is that BTL gets back up to at least $7.50 in the short term with the added bonus of new due which should be positive. Why would I talk the share down when I've added a 6th trade today? I prefer a balanced approach rather than listen to false prophets. I don't see anything Bk2 are doing that isn't different to another 100 others on the backdrop of a crypto market where sentiment is low. Will the 're listing double the SP? Even if it did thats 200k for Vela. The herd listened to you when your gang were telling everyone to hold at 1.20 and mocking anyone who had a different strategy. Since then youve called the bottom on Blu and Vela 20 times as they kept falling and Dan's predictions have been as accurate as a broken clock thats down on its luck.

What's the betting news flow from BTL starts coming after the 26th? Should here of some contracts which take it to the next stage of commercialisation. Bk2 I don't see as a key driver apart from a day trade opportunity when it relists. Arg I agree is interesting and could add 20/30% to Vela NAV...IF....it lists.
