not really, when BTL was $12 or £4m to Vela, our SP was over 1p or in other words the other investments were valued at circa £4m. The BTL drop has wiped £2m off yet the Vela market cap has dropped by £4.5m. Yes some of it is wider market sentiment and PI trading - but it's clear that Bk2 has been a bad investment, Vibe - say no more, the company needs some positive news to help the SP and of course BTL returning over $10.

I would guess that its Seven note holders hedging their positions or maybe the warrants? They are not listed or tradeable so how do the holders realise value? With the warrants taken up the actual price paid in the placing is more like 23p. They could short the amount of warrants they have to fix the amount they are worth.

Is the proposed £200k investment in Vibe the money coming back because Bk2 will fail to list? How much money is in the bank? This year more money has gone into Portr, Arg and Bk2. Shareholders would have gained more value if it had been left as cash in the bank. That said the non BTL investments should be valued at circa £2.5 -3m so the market cap does not reflect value - it reflects low confidence in the BOD after their recent decisions.

It's about confidence to deliver. Take away Btl and then look at the other investments - Vibe, Bk2, Arg, Potr - that's about �1.5m investment where there's no clear path to any shareholder returns. It seems 400k of investment in Vibe has gone down the drain but the owner of Vibe takes all. Vela BOD need a shake up, recent performance has been woeful with the Bk2 farce and now this.

the issue for Trumpton is, none of the other countries involved in the Iran deal are willing to pull out, ie. UK, France, Germany, Russia etc. So if he does pull out its just US, how much Iranian oil does the US import? So in terms of oil output what Trump does is a red herring - Iran will maintain current production if Europe continues its demand. Trump will get tighter controls within current framework at best for all others to agree.

Doesn't matter how much is due to Iran, the market loves volatility. I've sold for now based on simple risk reward - if Brent goes down it will probaly sink fast as shorters jump on board, if Trump does pull out I think PMO will still get stuck around 100p mark so. will lose less than 3 points compared to a possible 10 points or more downside.

I'm not really interested in new plays or Z3 for the time being. Short term its only about one thing - Z21 being brought to production at 150 bopd plus. If it doesn't happen the market will just see more jam tommorow scenario. Going deeper at 21 isnt what we really want at this stage, let's hope that can be next at Z3.

SP is far to low, at 3.8m market cap BTL is currently worth 2.25m, Potr is worth 1m so its giving 600k for the rest. When BTL was $12, Vela was 1p so 4m was BTL and another 4m for other investments. Shows alot is based on sentiment and newsflow. On the plus side BTL is going back up and Bitcoin is going to have a go at $10k so hopefully sentiment will be on the up soon.

if it can hold above 25p I think it will look to retest 30p. Of course if it's rising on a RNS in embargo then its Russian roulette - 35p or 15p depending on the detail.
