Bitcoin still getting hit which limits any upside to stocks like Vela, you can see from Bitk trading yesterday how linked it is to Cryptos - Arg will be similar given its going to be the only direct investment available on Ftse. Of course if this is the bottom for crypto's and a new rise coincides with the Arg launch then its blue skies.

Nothing to do with vibe, it looks like post placing Vela forgot to RNS change of % change in holdings.

Why? The NAV on current assets is way above the market cap and the oil price has doubled since the PFC. If you can sit out the test of time the only real issue here is can they produce at a given bopd over any length of time.

The issue is Z21 isnt a given, you cant finance a company in a future well result. That's why the SP is struggling, far to much depends on one work over. Indonesia should be discarded as the debt would be to high and the owners of the debt would have priority over shareholders on any default.

The SP is certainly structurally unstable. ĺ

Vela bought shares at 8p on a pre money valuation of 8m, so post placing about 10m. They are raising 20m on a 40m valuation - so the price of the IPO is going to be circa 16p. A decent rise on day 1 to say 24p would give Vela a 600k investment without putting more in this cash raise. So easily potential to be a 1m investment, significant at market cap of 4.5m.

could be a time thing, with Z21 possibly 3 months away, or could be selling before a discounted placing. Quite a few will fall over the summer as to be fair its been a hard slog with this company.

Blk2 are only just buying the equipment, they will get better as they progress and if crypto's rise from current prices.

I hadn't looked at Blk2, Prestos buys at 80 odd have already halved! Feet on the ground when it comes to this market. BTL needs news....fast.

i was talking more in terms of the " aim investor " as opposed to which market it lists on. I have investments in small caps on Ftse rather than Aim and I don't see any difference to be honest.
