I was focused on keeping the wife calm. She was given accommodation in the hospital grounds 10 days. It only hit me when i got back to an empty house.
Her condition was SVT which is Superventricular tachycardia. Before the drug was developed the only treatment was to fit a pacemaker. It maybe worth asking the question about SVT as i don't think its a common condition.

Sorry to hear your news about your grandsons latest episode, fortunately there's a treatment to regulate his heart rate.
Its called flecainide. My daughter had an irregular heart rate at 10 days old. Her little heart was beating so fast the hospital couldn't count the beats with a stethoscope, she ended up in ICU at the Freeman in Newcastle, they first had to regulate her heart rate before administer the drugs. It was an obvious worrying time with medical staff dashing around & my wife was frantic with worry, i realised the seriousness of the situation when i was quietly ushered to one side & asked to sign a consent & resuscitation form before we were asked to leave the ICU unit.
During the night they jumped her heart twice before they got a regular rhythm.
The drug is very effective & after 2 years with no more episodes she was taken off her medication.
She's 29 now living in Wales & into bouldering & iron man with her partner

Yeah the bigger the deal, the deeper the ruin, getting back to the infamous 'Shortly' comment by the BOD I'm sure that was a tongue in cheek ploy by them. The same as thise luttle hints we get now & then.

Les only hapf of A-Neg donors have a high enough level of platelets, allowing them to donate, fortunately for me, my count is higher than average.
The platelets only live for a short period before they need replacing & unfortunately chemotherapy depletes them.
Good luck for tonight, the gooners can get a result tonight, ive gotta cheeky bet on 2-3.
Tony great stuff, here's hoping you have a high enough count for a priceless gift.

Totally agree, funny thing there is, when the impatient panic/sell, the patient little LTH gets a piece of the pie too, which must be so annoying for them.

I always read your posts Les & your good ladies health is truely saddening to hear.
I noticed you mentioned about the platelets donation she received last week, i'm A-Rhesus Neg & i started a thread about it, then only a few days later you posted about the platelets treatment.
My aim was to highlight to others on here regarding my blood group, as it's relatively rare, but our platelets are universal.
I didn't want to appear to steam straight in when you posted your update.
Anyway at least 4 people are looking into possibly becoming donors.

I'm certainly no expert, but for me it's actually a very good question. I have mentioned on here a few times, when the poster's with a negative agenda, would have us believe everyone is selling , the SP is tanking etc etc. When there's very little volume being traded, the obvious conclusion here is shorters are at work.
The SP can move up/down very sharply too, again on little volume, which normally aligns with a large spread, which some see as MM's trying to create movement. Remember shorters only borrow shares.
Derampers appear anytime, all the time, some of the time, aiming to get the SP lower.
Getting back to the volume, there's almost 3 Billion shares in issue, so as a percentage, a little over half a percent has been traded today, but this includes buys & sells. So the negative types here can't respond to 99.95% are happy to hold.
