Leap isn't comparable to Entain, 888 etc as they cover the entire gambling spectrum and generate their own revenues. Leap as a B2B provider is a different animal, crucially much smaller.

The implications you're making here are just not things we should be concerned about right now. Slots aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Small measures to stop a few poor folk out there will turn out to be just that, small.

This isn't anything to be concerned about yet and you shouldn't be presenting it that way. Just because the gambling sector has had a wobble doesn't mean Leap's valuation changes anything more than marginally.

The government are considering this. Big difference Barwick, these checks could easily be via self declaration on finances in the end and are still early doors.

Plus Leap and their partners are worldwide, this could bring plays down for sure but it's not likely to be a significant problem.

One thing I've noticed a lot recently is the never ending emails from Primary Bid with some company or another doing a raise / IPO.

Ed's reasoning for the Leap delays is entirely plausible. For me it'd be nicer if those delays were for a sale of Leap, we will see more in time.

That tweet doesn't mean much, Ed's optimistic about the business but things change. Timelines moving out a bit is something you can understand, even if I agree things have taken a good deal of time already.

I'm happy to give it a go still, I don't think we see £50m from Leap but it doesn't need to be that good. Even if the 44% of Leap went for £50m there'd be too much of a rush by people taking their profits to get there.

For me I'd like to think that Seed gets to £35-50m from the Leap business. That's still 2x in mcap from here and one I feel risk reward is likely to be in the current shareholders favour. From there the cash in the fund should be able to find new homes in the cannabis / CBD space and help justify the funds existence. At £14m mcap it's costing 6% of that just to keep the fund open (£70k expenses p/m), which is too much. At double that mcap it becomes more palatable.

Ed said in the in AGM it'll likely go into next year for Leap and when it does sell / IPO he wants to be on the road to a £50m market cap. Yet you've got the board here going on and on about him promising £50m by end of year and sniping at one another.

Even all the recent negativity on Yooma is poor, judge it when it moves on and makes progress. Early stage investments go through huge volatility but ultimately in the long run average out to provide great returns. You're all in an investment fund in a growth sector, not every investment will go smoothly and they won't all be winners.

There are RNS updates often about the other portfolio companies.

I've kept up with the story here, I know there has been ramping and disguised intentions here over the years. The SP is in the toilet here mainly because faith in SEED is low, not because of the LSE board.

If you guys weren't sniping at each other all the time and kept the board down to a bit of banter (which you were having a bit in the 8's), and good research maybe you'd have a few newcomers taking the old guards place. Instead of these shares are passing from the weary to the weary when you want some sticky hands coming in.

I'm just saying the board as a whole doesn't really do itself any favours for anyone not short of this.

Anyone that doesn't agree with what Mat is saying here is deluded. This board is a painful read a significant amount of the time, the stalwarts here putting out their research should be something you all talk about and discuss the positive steps SEED can and hopefully will take.

Instead it's sniping, and then sniping about sniping and so much noticeable pain on how this fund has treated you all in the past, that people stumbling across this board will be less interested in it's future.

Yes Leap is fairly opaque but it's a good cog in a massive company in IMG and used by many other partners. The other investments deserve the opportunity to play out too as part of the new direction. Yooma SP sucks sure but the play there is early doors, Eurox seems like a beast in the making, LGP has great advantages etc.

No trades on Aquis in nearly two months for Yooma. Not one to fret about.

What you and J2300 have said today is spot on, the long termers here haven't seen much growth of note and there's been a lot of let downs.

The newcomers are important for you long termers though, most seem ready to jump when Leap is sold / IPO and you need people to come in and other people to stay in for you guys to get anywhere near a fair value.

Hopefully Ed can turn it around but as we all know it starts with Leap to hopefully get the disconnect between NAV and the SP closed.

Landore still an incredible investment at those rates John.

Even at the bottom end ($80 per oz) of that and the new MRE coming in at a paltry 1.3m oz you're still talking 56p a share fully diluted with no value attached for the unexplored areas, battery metals e.t.c.

Of course like most here, I think this goes for more than that but a worst case scenario on your rates is still over 2x today's price.

Plus the Apollo offer shows under $100 Oz wouldn't be enough IMO.

I look at the two sellers though, one a long time backer that's taken their chips off the table and the other a fund with a new direction that wants to make their own mark.

Yes for the fund particularly it seems a bad choice when a short wait could reap a massive return, but the managers won't be marked down for it and learning more about a gold / metals play probably didn't cross their mind.

Both sellers don't concern me, and with the volume this last month and the fact the selling has been going on so long, I don't see how there is much left to go.

Would be interested to hear figures if anyone has an estimation on how many Canna have left.

I think you might be right Maestro and JH. Joined the party here today at 23p. Don't see how this doesn't work out, barring the CEO (that has plenty of skin in the game) dropping the ball in negotiations.

Higher reserve come Christmas makes this even more attractive to a bidder, and the enquiries to be sell some or all of BAM will be made that's been made clear. Risk reward is attractive at these prices. Would still be at 30p too IMO.

I was saying more that the resource was diminished from the 1m Oz already in there Candlestick. From everything I've read I know that's highly unlikely with all the drilling that's been done. Even a 300koz upgrade would be worth the current mcap at a similar value to the Apollo offer.

The similarity between Apollo and Landore is great to see. The forced seller thing just sounds mad to me, looking in at today's price you're expecting a 200% return minimum by mid next year when the offers start coming in. Why wouldn't you sell something else?

Surely the CEO saying the company or part of it will be sold should be getting the speculators in. Where are they?

I've been looking at this for the last week or so and I can't get my head around it.

Can any of the long termers here think why LND are priced where they are now in this market? I've had a look and even if the MRE disappointed and the resource came in at say 700k Oz with exploration upside to come a sale for £60m should be simple enough.

Why does the market not like it? Genuine question folks not deramping.

The setup is there for Leap to have a high value liquidity event, whether at IPO or a premium sale.
