We can all tell when you're using AI to write your stuff. Many would suggest you can just get some ideas from it and use your own style.

Tek for me in a lot of ways are not really in the position to make their own investments in new university technology now, because the upside is taken away by the NAV per share drop the raises would bring.

Tek needs to get that first big exit for the market to provide the company of the sort of valuation they would need to do a big raise and actually support one of these companies with millions to go from idea to listing again. GNIP I believe will be the final one until that happens, as others have said though it does make sense to use the connections that they already have to make a little bit of risk free money in the interim.

Seeing this on the risers board I thought that they might have actually had something newsworthy happen. Nah course not, pump crew with the same old nonsense about cash and the fund being undervalued and safe. The wages will be paid until the money runs dry, and they haven't made an investment over £1m in anything for years now.

For those that missed it Tek sold a portion of their Microsalt holding last week. Looks like about £400k worth, and it looks like the CEO is acting prudently on the best source of funds Vs raises. A nice sign for sure, and Tek still own 63% of Microsalt.

The can Tek be more than the sum of its parts question will always be there until they get an exit from one of their investments. I'm in for the ride too but the guys that got burnt on this voices are a fair warning to all. The company was always going to run the way it has and dilute to find the investments. If the market doesn't think they'll ever get an exit it'll be heard way louder than your 70+ posts ever will.

There is a fairly general malaise against AIM listed funds right now.

More specifically for ANIC the public perception of the lab grown meats is starting to deteriorate, and there is less belief now than there was a few years back that the economies of scale will come for many entrants to complete with regular agriculture.

Luckily the portfolio here is way more diverse than just hitting one part of the sector(s) that fit the mission statement. That's for me what you really buying, they've got so much covered that you don't get just by investing in one of these cellular agriculture / precision fermentation companies. It's UK listed company that's being impacted by a distaste for UK listed companies that actually will make most of its money outside of the UK.
