Seed didn't take part in the last Avextra raise, they were broke. The 60% is all profit banked.
Oftm, you gotta work on that reading comprehension a bit more in school.
I do like Twitter Bagman. Now we've got two 🥳
I still think the Avextra deal was good, kept their 60% bump, kept some for any future returns. Cash could very well be king right now
Good start to the morning. Good call Investing Genius.
Dags, Mat and Bagman are both long suffering shareholders here and you probably know it. If they want to moan a bit sometimes sure point out the good in retort, but I wouldn't label them 'bashers'
Willing to eat my words on this though Investing genius, GL all :)
Wasn't talking about you Tak :) I hope this sets a floor at worst at today's close. I've got a few hundred k shares here so trust me I want this up, still another penny till I break even 😭
Investing genius, good post, I appreciate your input and don't want to be that guy that doesn't show the respect. I'm not a believer that is the way it works out but can see where you're going and hope it does.
Operative word was 'want' squirty. I want him to stop posting, I'm not telling him he has to. Pdub is good with his words, and knows exactly what he is doing.
Trojan, I've commented on this board plenty of times before. Check if you like. I pretty much gave up on it partly due to the obnoxiousness of people like pdub, mostly due to the fact that BMN not being amazing was rarely accepted as a comment here without being hounded out. It turns those 'trolls' were right. It turns out those 'trolls' were the good guys.
3.95p average is the proposal for 215m shares at £850k budget to clear up the again disingenuous ramping here. We should see at least a decent bump from here to 3.7-3.8p for at least a little while for those that want out. A bag for those in near the lows!
Well done Seed! Great to see this decision. Look forward to seeing the next investments.
Not a personal attack, I do want you to leave this board and all boards relating to BMN but don't take it personally. I'm finishing up here after today, maybe we can do it together?
Fist thing I want to say back is they are not trolls, trolls comment online just to set other people off. Many of the people that have had disagreements with you; over quite frankly way too long period of time you not to have eaten a bite of humble pie about your comments, were trying to stop other people making the mistake of following you into this company that have done nothing but let its shareholders down since 2020.
You were the face of the VRFB revolution, the BMN's market value is going to soar as they capitalise on this once in a generation opportunity, the Fortune is doing an amazing job and we're all so supremely lucky to be invested in this wonderful wonderful company.
You encouraged people to take a chunk of these every single step of the way down from 24P just from what I read. Whilst you in particular are the biggest unfounded dream talker here there are others that did it too. They just weren't as obnoxious as you were, furthermore at least a few of the other commentators are willing to point out the good with the bad. You just kept and keep on spouting the sunshines and rainbows, at like someone before said 97% down from the top and over 90% down from 2021 high.
This debt is going to be a millstone on this company. The company likely won't die, the mines almost for sure won't die, but the value of many people shareholdings here definitely can significantly decrease, even from here. $28k Vanadium in an environment where debt costs much as it does right now! I don't see how anybody can be buying this unless something amazing happens or the debt is finalised, things change in the macro environment and the clear picture is available. I'm sure a few of the footsoldiers will chip in.
Good luck to anyone that manages to catch the bottom. The pure miner future play to me; which as I said a few times was what I thought the attractive part of the business was, seems to be high risk. There will be VRFB sold in the future, but how many of them? Let's be honest with ourselves, it's not a sure thing that becomes a big market and it's not sure thing that BMN manage to be a good part of it either. It's going to take some sort of combination of a medium term price consistency as well as that magical price point in vanadium for VRFB to really really work, and the rebar market is too big of a beast to give a care for it. BMN is not a company that will ever be able to be in control of its own fate, and as a result you end up with owning it being a massive gamble that has gotten them to the position that they're in today. Also Good Luck Chris H if you are still checking in here, it was always a pleasure interacting with you.
If I could recommend your post snakes 50 times and then never recommend another post again I would. Clap clap clap!
Codejunkie, I'm not blaming my losses on Pdub. I actually profited on my June buy overall as I cut profits in the 3s. While he's an eloquent and well researched contributor I never bought BMN based on what he said. In 2021 I originally bought it for what I thought would turn out to be a good mining business as I didn't see a building slowdown so thought rebar demand and V demand would keep the V prices at levels BMN could make work. I also didn't believe; certainly back in 2021, that the mining performance would have been so bad.
There are a lot of accounts on these bulletin boards that you can tell hung on every word he said. The delivery of everything he said to hasn't changed from 24P all the way down to 2p, he should take some responsibility for that. The continued used by pdub of multiple platforms to amplify his opinions on BMN is something that he should just stop doing.
Also codejunkie maybe see someone about that anger issue. Oooff!
Your bullishness has cost real people thousands of pounds Pdub and you haven't learned 1 bit from it! I want BMN to do well, but one of the big reasons you get so many detractors on this board is the attitude of some of the uberbulls, in particular of pdub.
How can you make statements like this, "Mug’s game attempting to predict the outcome" or "Until recently there was no doubt about the Orion 6p issue in my opinion". Both are important information! I said I like the bull scenario for BMN when V was $33k, but at $28k the road ahead is dilution dilution dilution.
I listened to the new CEO, I like him. I like the efficiency hunt. I like the fact that they're shifting Mokopane on even though they took a massive loss on it. I still don't see how right now he isn't going to dilute you into oblivion before he succeeds with this plan.
Buy the MSCI All World Razor, sit back and relax
Aimwolf is bob on; many great points made today. I recently got stopped out here from my June entry (and chucked from the telegram group for the audacity of having a stop) and saw it'd hit a new low today so had a look in again. Vanadium well below BMN break even now. They're going to give up a lot to Orion imo That 6p conversion seems unlikely to me.
Following the theme of pointing out the hypocrisy of the uberbulls here, I said in the TG group early this year or late last year that V outlook didn't look good to me long term. Mr Superior Pdub tried to dress me down over it. 99% of other commentators I wouldn't have bothered bringing this back up, but considering how hard these guys are still going defending BMN it felt right. It goes to show a know all attitude can be a road to ruin no matter how well researched and smart you are... Or think you are.
CFG was always a long shot, it's just if they made it Seed would have made a few millionaires. Still in the game with it and there'll not necessarily be a monopoly supplier
Just a reminder for anyone. The AGM will be live on Investor Meet Company platform (free sign up) 10am next Wednesday 20th September.
How Ed and the board answer questions in that forum; and not some chat in a trading group online, will be important for us all.
He chooses his words well IG, always states it's an option, something we're considering etc because he can't act like they're not or the market would mark him down even more. These responses are non-commital
Just because it's a good idea doesn't mean it's gonna happen. I'd Love!!! to hear them commit to it but until they do we can't know.
Investing genius doesn't know there'll be a buyback and is disingenuous to word his point in a way that he acts like he does.
The next investment matters a lot, the company need wins to drive the long term sp. Investing genius here for a quick(ish) buck, which is fine if you're not acting like you have the inside track.
Mat you're right to exercise caution but you're not giving the opportunity as it stands in this macro environment the respect it deserves. All the investments Seed has (bar CFG) were bought in an era of cheap easy money. Interest rates likely (hopefully) will never return to those lows. Seed are in a position to be a source of funds to companies that are looking at 12%+ CLNs, massive dilutions and they can capitalise on it from this cash rich position that the company to their credit have got themselves into.
Did they take huge hit on Leap, yeah 100% but they've sat on the cash and are waiting to find the best deal they can. This Avextra part sale is a great move particularly from this low sp. New eyes will come. Both Ed and Alfredo have picked good winners for Seed before, they're buying from a massive position of strength now as opposed to chasing losses on things like SWB.
Caveat, next buys need to be not a mates business. So long as they stick with that I say great buy down here. This should be trading at 5p+. Whenever the next investment does come I really do look forward to hearing your opinion on it Mat
Only Seed could knock 2% off it's NAV, have a big IPO stall and actually look like a better investment a few days later. Good play partially cashing in on Avextra at the raise price, look at the deal OTO just had to give to get some equity. Seed can be the hunter for these now rather than the prey. Posters here can say what they want but Avextra was the 1 true Alfredo play. Now he's on the board he'll hopefully have more space to find some more of these.
