He's got a couple million options at 8p JB, that'll be incentive enough I hope!
I've kept an eye on a medical cannabis ETF in the time I've followed Seed as a bellwether. It bottomed out 2-3 weeks ago and is up 10% from.the lows, Germany are moving along with their legislation, perhaps Avextra delivers us some golden news next year. NL IPO to come.
The biggest was a 9p target which is wild to me. NAV at 12p then maybe this sees 9p again.
I'd like to think this sees 3's fairly soon. My blue sky thoughts are a well executed buyback and some good news in some of the PF, we could see 5-6p in 6 months maybe. The market needs something to believe in here. The buyback starts that... if it happens.
A shame you couldn't average down at 2p J2300, but I think I'd have made the same call you did too on that average.
If they managed to spend a million quid at 3.25p the NAV would be 8.25P based on the final results (no uptick for CFG). All the attention that's gonna get could be valuable of Seed can show us they'll get it going up again.
Whatever price they announce I think they'll be able to spend £1m and get it filled Dags. £1m at 3.25p would cancel out 1 in 7 shares and the company are buying them back at a c60% discount to NAV.
Some good news a month after they finish that and we're chuffed!
It's looking like I'll be eating my words on this not being a rise to believe in Dags. The thing that starting to interest me the most here is a lot of these shares imo are going into the hands of short and medium turn traders, based on tweets. There's even a few wild targets being thrown out there.
These will be the type of people that when or if the company do announce that they'll do a buyback; say to use a million quid to buy under XYZ price, those people will sell. Imagine if the company do take out 15-20% of shares in issue with a million quid. You're getting closer to a double digit NAV per share again. I'm looking forward to the AGM!
You should join the telegram group Michu, there are dissenting voices in there but yours would be a nice edition.
They're in a blackout period Ronaldo. TSX listing being in progress means they can't release any new news.
See you already laid out the plan of what he wants to do in the RNS and interview. Drilling starts in the autumn, I'm excited to hear what the plan for how they want to plant those drills is going to be! Do they do go deep or whether they increase the confidence interval of the resource.
It's a hard rise to believe in sticking.
LGP keeps falling. No Eurox news. Northern Leaf, not sure what they're up to? CFG is seen as mates business until they actually do a Series A, and they aren't just raising money from XYZ firm nobody's ever heard of in Latin America. Inveniam, meh don't care. The buyback talk is speculation from accounts that don't know there'll be one. The 'buyback' cash is available in the first place because they got outmanoeuvred on Leap. They also had to settle and take the beauty company stock and don't know how that's gonna play out. The last quality win they had was the Eurox raise imo, that was a fair while back now.
Company has a lot to prove. Plenty can go right; it could only take one win from all of those companies above, but the ifs and buts are abundant. It would be a folly to ignore that.
The lack of buyback is the big concern for me, happy to acknowledge the bad and the good
I don't think I'll be right either Hedge, but I at least expect them to be raising at small premiums at each time. If the tech holds up they'll find investors knowledgeable enough to know they have something
This could be a way better direction then the weed stocks because this market shouldn't have massive regulatory barriers.
If the price is right why wouldn't we be for this? Say the raise is at 3x the current valuation Seed are up in the millions in NAV
Maybe wait and see what the price is before jumping to conclusions on this folks
sorry reefles, if it seemed like i was talking down to you. i wouldn't and wasn't.
agms just don't do it for me; even in this circumstance, it only seems to be the real **** shows where anything interesting ever gets close to happening. all the good stuff i'd expect to find out in the rns, but i'll still take a gander at nl tomorrow.
There isn't really any news, AGMs are mainly admin unless you're in attendance alongside a Doc Holliday it seems.
Until we hear about the next investment I'll only keep up with the RNS and check in here every now and then. It seems more are waking up to the discount to the NAV, and we have to hope that those people keep coming along and see something they like the sound of. Still the real SP mover will be one of the investments or new investment grabbing the attention of the market.
Nice to hear from you Michu. I was lucky enough too to take half of my investment off the table here at 18p, and I'm not sure I'll ever get back to the number of shares I had then. Regardless I still want to be here to hear the story. 30p raise in 2021 and at BAM they really only improved the standing since then.
It's hard to look past the fact the mcap here is c£10m and they've spent (from the top of my head) on BAM alone drilling mainly successfully c£25m. There is an asset there and while I'm not under any illusions it definitely does get taken to production there is enough already there to hear more of the story. Maybe the SP here is the management quality showing, maybe it's because the resource lacks certainty for whether a developer will want to take this into production based on now and potential.
I'm not of the same opinion of this I was 18 months back but also since then the SP has dropped 60% and it's a different opportunity. I still think if right now LND traded at £40m mcap you'd say fair enough. They've got a NPV of probably 20x+ the SP right now at just at BAM, and a new man up top that wants to achieve the potential of the flagship asset and to focus only on that.
The percentage/ smart play is probably to wait to invest, at least until Claude announces the strategy. For me he hit the right notes in the interview, I took some more in advance and I'm happy with it.
Agreed CTW, good start and he seems to be going the way many here wanted focussing on BAM. Let's hope that he gets some of these non-core assets spun off all sold relatively quickly to reduce the burden on the fundraise.
I'm not sure I believe him when he says that we will be producer here, but maybe it's not the worst thing to have that in mind. NPV could be somewhere near 300 million right now without growing BAM.
All in all our future value as UK and current holders of this company is going to be quite drastically affected by how Claude manages to present us to the Canadians. A good story there and maybe growing BAM to something sellable or mineable won't take all that long. Landore has always succeeded with the drill bit at BAM, long may that continue.
18% spread has come right down now Longlad
I'm sure he'll show up here at some point but for now I'm also happy to say just chill out Dags, chill out
Wait for them to make the investment, everything I see in the market now is companies having a horrible time raising. Small cap share prices are being battered and waiting to find something that the company think is an outstanding rather than just good opportunity is prudent
#seed ticker is used by a lot of none Seed Innovations related stuff Longlad. The company need to do a better job really of using #seedinnov as the ticker for Seed talk
