I was saying a little negative just to be polite Midas, always admired how you were open Seedis a short term thing for you. Just think you've been more assertive in expressing the negatives around the fund, Leap this last week or so. But what do I know, not a member of the 7 year family as you say...

Agree not much else looking good for Seed now away from Leap. Eurox the only one really looking like it might make a significant NAV increase long term, market not liking LGP (or other cannabis plays), Yooma nearly writing off a bunch of its acquisitions. Would be great for Leap to get to liquidity when that market bottoms but we can't be sure it will.

Hope the pump crew have moved on for now. Might stop us going lower lol.

It was the one before the last one when he mentioned the likelihood of missing Q2 target. I just don't get how you hear that comment, then the last one about Leap IPO being "this year" and think there'll be news soon.

Midas has been a little negative lately (imo, still think you're a good contributor overall Midas) but I think he's more likely right than wrong.

Didn't Ed already say that Q2 was unlikely, partly due to Ukraine War. There's a reason he's said he's confident it'll be done this year, to give some wiggle room on expectations IMO.

I might end up being wrong here but this SP could crash back end of this month when no more Leap news has come through and the impatient sell their shares back to the patient.

In all seriousness nice find Mark. Seed likely will not get that level of premium since IMG add a lot of value; and they'll make that known, but I'm hopeful of a solid valuation for Leap. 20p+ mcap not too hard to imagine with 210m shares in issue.

Here's one question that I would be interested to hear everybody's take on. If Leap really are doing £3m revenue each month then why did they need to do the small raise a few months back?

Q selling out always confused me when the Leap endgame was always in sight, pretty much announced yesterday they're going for it.

I keep my expectations low Maestro to avoid disappointment. I think this goes somewhere in the 90's, and that'll be a terrific result.

60p too cheap IMO. Significantly undervalues what a company that can mine both resources can get out of junior lake. Under par value for just BAM too. I do think it's the minimum though.

Would be nice to see more for the long termers but I'd take it too.

If something is all or nothing people are way more scared of nothing than hopeful on the pot of gold being at the end of the rainbow on average.

The nickel is worth way less than people think, gold (high end of) low grade. Yes it's a top juri but 80p-£1.10 would be a good get IMO. £150m would be phenomenal negotiations.

Yep JH with you here. I think this process goes pretty deep, probably even through to the PFS as we try to get the best value for the resource. A good price is at least a couple of bags from here, a great price a few more potentially.

It'll sell IMO, just a question of timing. I said when I got here first in October '21 I'd happily hold this for two years to get the payoff. Still believe we see a sale before October '23.

Trouble on these bulletin boards is often decent means bad, good means decent, very good means good etc as the superlative inclined posters and tweeters have led our language to be seen. Though after writing this I realise I'm doing you a huge disservice mentioning you alongside those sorts of contributors..

With you on all this Michu bar the gold grade criticisms. Grades either high end of low grade or the bottom end of medium grade, depending how you'd like to look at it.

PEA alone shows NPV here over $200m for just over half the known resource. Can reasonably 1.75-2x that for the part not included; even at lower grade, due to that part not carrying the upfront costs.

A buyer should emerge, it's too good a project not to find someone interested. My only (small) concern is Bill + team perhaps overvaluing the project and negotiations not getting off the ground. He's the CEO though and I'm just someone commenting on a bulletin board. I believe in the team.

Leap will do great things, taking the appropriate time to decide how they move next is prudent for them and Seed. Waiting can hopefully see the fund get a chunky figure for Leap, the longer the better (better to wait than having the same crap that happened with Moon).

I was referring to the very short term past Longlad. Overall I couldn't give 2 cents about Seed before it changed its name, bar Leap.

Seed's problems are well known, I'm still unhappy about the pay rises dished out last year when nothing was achieved. There's so little talk of anything good that goes on too though, and when there is it often gets shot down or ignored in favour of having a moan.

Of Ed's bigger plays Eurox has been a good investment, Yooma we can't really judge yet and LGP has struggled. 1-1-1 record, that's okay for now.

I'm still sticking by what I said at the start of my investment here, I'll judge Seed and Ed after Leap.

I think you're overthinking this Mads, it's just a technicality.

The chap who writes the report has to follow the rules. The rules for what you can say to your clients will be that you have to use the formal report figures where available. Those report figures are fairly similar to the last PEA now (for NPV) with the lack of an extended case. No value for the 1/2 million inferred Oz.

Their valuation for the firm is similar to before in the report, just a few more shares in issue and larger costs bearing on the project upfront. The email of the chap that wrote it is on the report if anyone wants to get some confirmation. I'd bet they'll be able to share the framework they have to follow.

Tbf the house broker downgrade is just them being conservative.

They only use figures in the PEA, last PEA had base and extended case which was used. This one now only refers to the base case. I presume this is due to changes in the rules that force a more risk averse presentation with indicated as a minimum confidence level.

These broker valuations are minimum expectations to keep in mind (mainly).

Junior gold market took a beating yesterday, Landore held up due to the report. It's getting dragged down now.

Company worth way over 22p now a formal sales process has started imo. Easy buy/hold for me.
