what on earth are you on about? they are negotiating more favourable terms with their lender based on the second half improvement in trading. how on earth have you managed to read this as a negative. as for the drop yesterday. it baffles me how the market can keep reacting to the same news. like a bleedin' goldfish!
ha. i do care really. but i also think maybe you get too irritated by this page and pay a little too much attention to a stock that has to be the most static and undynamic on the market. i am sure it'll come good but it aint gonna happen on the back of periodic announcements of some contract win or another. we all know what we are waiting for. maybe when the oil and gas companies start reacting to their shareholders call for less exploration and investment and more dividends, we will see them exploit existing wells with cra tech? till then dont stress about details on this page. imo. :) chill matey.
imo. they only shifted 22% in their open offer. the remaining 78% have been admitted on the open market at the offer price. we wont see the sp move till those shares are all taken up..
ok i'll have a crack at it. why the collapse? because people can't be arsed to read. the retail investor has gone AWOL leaving only the "pros" who have such a relatively small interest in small caps so don't bother reading reports. top and bottom lines look crap and the macro suggests a prolonged slump in cap ex. So a company like ekt is an obvious target. If they gave a toss they would see that the disappointing top line was nothing to do with demand (which was above expectations) and everything to do with supply problems (which are now sorted) sales from the first half have been pushed back into the second half. in addition, fund managers have a bad habit of seasonal window dressing so sell stocks which have underperformed so they are not seen on their end of year books. i consider this to be a severe form of retardation......imo
hmmm. i reckon wide spreads are a poor excuse. spreads have blown out yes , but balanced by high volatility. huge jumps in sp on relatively low volumes leap frog the wide spreads...imo but yes this is a silly price. EKT said themselves, delay problems are solved and backlogs being reduced. screaming buy.
sym sp appears to be reacting to todays uk manufacturing numbers. bit odd seeing as they have no uk sales! and if nick clegg gets his ignorant way (charging for carrier bags) they never will!!!
i don't blame you :D , cheers goosewing, hope u had a good one. sure it'll come good. wish they'd sort out the price quote nonsense on this page though, save me having to look it up to check i'm not barking.
results will be "in line with expectations". Now if only we knew what expectations were! another meaningless release. may as well be written in swahili.
your guess is as good as mine in these thin markets. aim shares get spanked because of extreme lack of liquidity, hated if they slightly miss expectations and treated like the plague for being high risk. imo cra is seriously underpriced and a surprise profit would see it soar. it's a waiting game but the good news is that buys are now in blue, so x your fingers. gl
following this logic, it's only when buys appear as buys that you know the original large sell order has been satisfied. then u see the price rise.....thoughts?
it's my guess that when someone puts in a large sell order that cannot be matched, the order goes on hold and as smaller buy orders come in they appear as a sell. ie giving priority to the sell order? could be wrong but if you have noticed, when buys appear as sells, the next buy price is lower.
