Pleased that Marstons with this approach will start to rise in value and start to recover. However, the thought of what an American hedge fund would do with a significant amount of the British brewery industry in its hands terrifies me. I have seen what they have done to other businesses making the lives of employees hell and breweries like Ringwood that I love deserve better. I will not be selling to them..... and we can forget future dividends if they do get hold of Marstons

Really impressed with this company. Solid results and lots of good opportunities for the future. Also sent a query to the company which was very efficiently answered in detail. Am very pleased with my investment here and even more after the results which the market clearly liked.

i hope your right, purchased more as i like this company a lot. should get to £2.50 later in the year then head towards £3........I hope

Really impressed. Great results in a challenging year and dividend restored. Excellent mix of growth opportunities for the next year. Particularly liked the tone of the CEOs statement. Seems a very impressive character focusing on long term growth as well as short and equally focused on succession planning and developing careers. On any weakness will add here

Reduced my holding here. To say you are trading well on products you are handing back is hardly impressive. No news on what should be the key court case. Emailed company a couple of times and never got an answer. Am moving elsewhere

A very good rise after this is money in the mail said maybe time to take profits. Could well be something in the air

I have only recently invested here and in fact added to yesterday so have nor followed this company for long. I too noticed you point so we seem to have no way of knowing whether the transaction was at a profit or loss. I have read on their company page that they are restarting dividends but cannot find any dates . Do you know any ? I emailed the company yesterday on their investor page asking this question but early days for a reply. I dont know as yet how good they are at investor relations. From what I read though the company seems to have the right ideas re growing the business......if they can get the prices right !

This is fast becoming my star share. Followed director buys earlier this year so great capital growth plus lovely dividend. Rumours of a bid earlier this year. If that happens could be looking at £5 plus. Here's hoping.

JT has repeatedly said throughout the second half of the year that at least one deal if not two are being worked on. I cannot believe he will not get one over the line pre Christmas. My own view.....good news is coming

Thank you all for your inputs and a lot of very valid points. When you see the awful comments on some boards this one shines out by comparison for its courtesy and intelligent postings. I am certainly not giving up on the company but i dont think it can wait for ever for commodity prices to fall.

Whilst I love the dividends I am becoming more and more frustrated here. In the last nine months I have seen shares I have been tempted by rise 50%plus . I stuck with this as from the beginning of the year JT has talked repeatedly and on numerous platforms about acquisitions but nothing happens ! Are we going to see the year out without a single new decent size acquisition to help replace Kestral income ?? Why is it that similar royalty company's seem to be finding lovely deals do do ? Trident in th UK have 6 ngo's in place after closing a number of deals already this year.

Been tracking these for some time at lower rates and thought I had missed the boat. However relooked at the figures and growth projections and saw huge upside so bought in today...not least for the dividend. Fingers crossed I will be proved right .
