You beat me. Yes took a punt on this. Noticed a lot of 100,000 sales this morning which I am surprised by. Fingers crossed it does well, an impressive board, and fingers crossed I can understand when best to use/manage the subscription shares

Many thanks. fingers crossed. I like a company that has a clear strategy that knows where it wants to go and is led by a person with a proven track record. This hopefully ticks both boxes

I bought in this week at 87p thinking a good investment having seen the presentation and researched the CEO. Since then drooped to 80 so beginning to wonder if I did the right thing. Pleased though that the CEO bought more this week and hoping for positive news in May. Given the vaccines, this lockdown insanity cannot surely go on much longer

onwards and upwards . totally agree being undervalued. this is a growing cash cow business in my opinion

hi, still have a very small holding but reduced substantially as found some good opportunities and so far capital growth has been outstanding and they pay a dividend. Still think this will double in time but my resources are not finite and am still 12% down on my portfolio but fortunately I am slowly whittling that down

I agree entirely re KF . JT is cautious but KF takes that to the next level which probably adds to the slow pace of movement. The last time KF was allowed to give an interview if you recall he was so negative the share price took a real hit. So saying all this, I too have a feeling that a deal is imminent ....... but lets hope its a good size one than reflects JTs change of direction aspiration's for the company..... and not a tiddler.

If I am honest just dont know what to make of these results and in particular the LIOC move. Was this sale partly to improve the figures and cover the dividend ? Given credit suisse upbeat note re pricing why sell a well performing asset . Also surely some companies would have issued an RNS re the sale. Note was very light on the subject of future acquistions as well. For me, the jury is still out. Last thought with the reduction of kestral does this denote a speeding up of mining outside our area or other implications. To me a lot of questions come out from this

Thought your points made okavongo were particularly good. APF started to push ESG principles early last year but no 'green' deals. So many companies have since come on the bandwagon and have actually closed deals. I am more concerned about how conservative JT is. I know at a time like this that may be an asset but you also need that entrepreneurial gene as well. There have been changes in his personal life as we know so I just hope he still has the hunger for APF as I really do feel the disconnect between talk re aspirations and delivery is beginning to get larger and more noticeable. This is my biggest holding by far so I am sticking in but I would not be honest if I wasn't worried.

Been thinking more on this. Was always taught that a company expands or contracts, cannot stand still. With almost a year and no substantive deal I fear markets will get bored and the share price will drift. At the moment thank goodness for me and others it is supported by iron ore prices and the note from credit suisse re iron ore at us$150 was really encouraging. It really needs something though in my opinion as I do feel opportunites have been out there this last year. Thoughts most welcome

Would just like this company to do something !!! Almost giving up on acquisitions. JT seems very good at walking the interviews re acquisitions........ but turning words into actions ??? As a result have reduced but still have a lot for the time being not least because of dividend but if it continues to do nothing this will eventually start to come under pressure but admittedly not in the short term.....hopefully

Wow, a lot of questions. I'm afraid I don't know the answers. However, they have set aside a sum, even though that didn't have to, so I working on the basis they allocated enough as no pint if not. Also I believe the cladding cost is much greater for the really high rise blocks of flats which as far as I am aware WP have not built any. Sorry couldn't help more. On a positive note look at the discussions they are having re the titanic quarter in Belfast. Really exciting

Hi , I recently invested in this well run company and have steadily increased my stake. The fact that they are moving into build to rent is I think a really good move, and to get institutions to pay up front for the land etc so as to keep their cash flow positive is a masterstroke. Re cladding, in their annual report they advise that they are NOT legally obliged to correct it but as a duty of care are doing so . A very decent thing to do in my book . Additional they advise they will get some of these costs back from other interested parties. They have already sent aside in the annual accounts the money to correct the buildings concerned so the hit has been taken with no negative effects on the share price. In conclusion they have restarted the dividend and I see a very well managed company that I will be further building a stake in. Hope this helps Sam
