AZN communication skills have been poor regarding Covid19 vaccine. AZN does not want to make any profit regarding C19 vaccine??? Yesterday I thought it is time to buy AZN (8029), NOW I think it is time to find better place than AZN to invest.

mRNA vaccines are coated molecules of mRNA, similar to DNA, that carry the instructions for making a viral protein.

After injection into muscle, the mRNA is taken up by cells. Ribosomes, the cell’s protein factories, read the mRNA instructions and make the viral protein. These new proteins are exported from cells and the rest of the immunisation process is identical to other vaccines: our immune system mounts a response by recognising the proteins as foreign and developing antibodies against them.

There is more data to come regarding vaccine. . This is a press release and the data have not undergone “peer-review” through scientific publication, although it has been assessed by an independent monitoring board. the volunteers must be monitored for a defined period of time after vaccination for any side effects and this must be completed.

Important questions also remain. It’s unclear how long protection will last, as this study has only been underway for three months. It’s unclear if this vaccine protects against severe disease or if this vaccine will work equally well in everyone.  For example, a phase 1 clinical trial with this vaccine showed that immune responses were lower in older people. But 90% efficacy is striking. % efficacy would be far higher than the FDA’s threshold of 50%, and greater than that of many flu vaccines. What still needs to be done?
Trials must show the vaccine is safe.
Cinical trials must show vaccines stop people getting sick or at least reduce the number who die. Huge-scale development needs to happen for the billions of potential doses. Regulators must approve the vaccine before it can be given. It is thought that 60-70% of the global population must be immune to stop the virus spreading easily - billions of people, even if the vaccine works perfectly.

Buy to sell, and sell to buy. Nothing has been fundamentally changed in the company during the last 3 weeks. However, the SP went up 60% (from 125 to 205). What's peoples thoughts on this rise driven from Covid 19 vaccine. Will we see a retract back to 120 , or hope to see 300p over next few weeks?

I usually buy shares of one company for around 20 thousand pounds. I was buying BP shares from 198 to 210.
And then I have started selling from 228p. Now I expect to see 250-260p in the next week. In general, I like to sell on Thursdays or Wednesdays PM. I try to keep things simple. I don't believe in a longterm british business. FTSE companies are for trading not investing. Despite significant fall in value of GBP comparing to USD and EURO in the last 18 years, and massive QE, FTSE has practically the same value in the last 20 years. Just my opinion and good luck all of you.

Trump could not win. And Biden could not lose. So many obstacles were built from the first day of his presidency. I will remember him he did not start any war. The Nobel prize winner for Peace attacked 7 countries in six years of his presidency. And he was "such a nice man" .BP will get better .
