I’ll say 15p as it’s between the two “extremes”.

But Owl, based on past performance (which is no guide to the future), the promise of a DFS has been broken many times before by EMH. Based on that, I would suggest expectations be set accordingly.

Nothing has been communicated that would provide any more (or less) confidence in it appearing in Q1.

I’d also like to think management would give an update on DFS progress so there are no last minute surprises this time (but I who am I kidding?!).

To be clear I mean a ~10% drop in Li prices in 2024 (according to GS) and not the ALL share price.

FWIW (and they were right about last year) Goldman Sachs’ view is a greater lithium surplus this year - and Li prices to drop to £11k/t. Another 10% drop to go?

Hopefully not! Perhaps ALL price is, dare I say, stuck between a rock and a hard place (sorry).

50p+ would be nice to cover all my other Li (paper) losses!

And I thought the optimism was about the DFS coming out “this quarter”…

Not saying Labour will make much of a difference but if you can’t tell the country wants change then you are sitting pretty with a comfortable life.

Alex, if you want to go full conspiracy theory then Middle East war and oil price springs to mind - but then the comparative cost of EV charging will look far more attractive…

But of course there is a powerful oil and ICE industry with well funded lobbyists.

The cure for low prices is low prices, I heard. And if the time-frame for lithium to rise from the forecast demand is in a few years (say 2028) maybe KC and the sunshine band's delays will be perfectly timed.

I guess each time they start from scratch, they have no financial modelling to re-use (where they plug in the new costs and out pops the results). So I can see why it will always take 3 months to almost complete it - until they decide they need another bit of time. /s

i can imagine we will have a EV market with sodium and lithium (like an EV nod to diesel and petrol ;) )

(And who knows, maybe BYD is also keeping an eye on /hand in the (static) storage market.)

I’m sure KC might say he ‘did not expect’ the DFS to ‘slip’ by 3 months right up until he released the DNS that it should be (!) next quarter… I mean this quarter.

Just need to look at our neighbour EMH on how to (over) promise and under deliver… that will have an effect here on the absence of any news.

As I thought, now the talk is of the DFS coming out “soon” just a week or so after its postponement …and how it will be the game-changer… deja vu
