The fact that testing is increasing rapidly and they will be using “ millions of the NEWLY INVENTED tests “
My “HUNCH “is that he is talking about the new mink/bird flu strain tests that have been tweeted about and mentioned by all you guys today .

I could only imagine they wanted to use LFT was to keep the CV19 cases down .

That doesn’t mean the cases will actually BE down but due to its inaccuracies it misses so many positive cases .

It’s a double edged sword if you think about it .

NCyT PCR is the gold standard test but it will in turn increase cases which will make the government look bad .

Accurate testing is the only way to stop the spread until a safe vaccine can be rolled out en masse .

Going forward the antibody tests could be used in conjunction with the vaccines to tell when a new vaccine is required .

.I heard Pfizer vaccines may only provide protection for two months . So everybody who is vaccinated may need a maximum of 6 antibody tests a year .

We have said we have the capacity to ramp up from the 3 million a month current capacity .

I would be very surprised if we are not involved in this side of things when AZ get a test to market .

So Roche and Modena have teamed up to use antibody tests with one of the cv 19 vaccines . To check levels of antibodys and when re vaccination will be needed after the anti body’s wear off .

I imagine we will be involved with Astra Zeneca in some way similar especially as we have our own antibody test and are able to provide 3 million per month at the moment.

@troublesome .Of course the infection rate has dropped in Liverpool as one out of two positive CV19 tests are not been picked up by the not fit for purpose innova LFT.

I’m not sure how government tenders work but if I bought a load of rubbish that didn’t work as advertised I’d by demanding a refund and certainly not ordering or accepting anymore of them .
