I would far rather Novacyt bought Abbingdon health rather than yourgene . They are making great progress in LFT and saliva based pregnancy tests , have directors buying into the company and are making sales .

Instead they have bailed out a company that was very nearly bankrupt with little sales and now got the grifter LR as there new CEO .

Novacyt can’t sell , their PR , IR and sales team are as bad as ever and the headcount and wage bill of staff and directors are burning through what little there is left in the cash pot .

Look at lynn Rhyss track history with YGEN . He ran the company into the ground , whilst promoting and ramping Ygen and stringing on investors along the way .

Now he has found an opportunity of a lifetime in discovering the weak board and directors of Novacyt and securing a highly paid job for the next few years until he runs down the few million pounds that Novacyt have left .

Dint bank on s as my future profits from new strains of covid and income generated from tests , that ship has truly sailed .

Welcome harchris , I think this is a safer bet than your other investment in Novacyt . A great update indeed .

Guys , I am so sorry about the DHSC settlement case . I got out of this share a while ago , I could have made great money than as I believed in the company and its prospects .

I got attached , I held . Huge mistake .

Could have sold well above my entry point but I held .

Worse mistake I have ever made .

I have absolutely no faith in the company now , the writing was on the wall . They simply can not sell , have no PR , they had great products with Q16 , home testing diagnostics but have no direction .

They are back to selling tests for shellfish and vet testing . Exactly where they were before they win the Covid lottery .

I took my blinkers off and sold .

I would certainly not re invest now that LR is in charge now .

If the ranger tech from YGEN was so good they would have been bought by now .

Be VERY careful .

This really is not looking good now .

Novacyt cannot sell . Simple ! They have had 2 years to capitalise sales since Covid but seem to have gone full circle and are back to promoting veterinary and aqua culture tests . Good god .

Now with the chancer “ lynn Rhyss “ in charge I hope things get gettter . He may have 28 years experience but his last 7 years have proved to be dreadful .

If Novacyt loose the dhsc case now it will be an utter disaster .

It sure is good to hear poidsters views on the tests and their merits . Especially with his background in this area .

I imagine most who are already locked in have no choice but to hoe the odds go in Novacyt favour .

However we are not getting other significant buys yet leading up to the case .

This causes doubt .

What would you say the odds of Novacyt winning the case and claiming all damages and lost revenue Chris ?

There is still a huge risk investing here even with all we know about the dhsc case and the accuracy of the tests themselves . We know they worked , they were validated after all ?

The company and its actions however have been a total failure in the last three years .

What happened with TATA ? I thought this would be huge along with the mygo pro , q16 ‘s and had a lot of faith back then . Since then we hear absolutely nothing from Novacyt . No forward plans , barely any sales to speak of . No PR , no hype . Limited shareholder interaction .

Right now it is not a company with anything exciting to offer and a chancer of a CEO in charge who ran his last company into the ground .

If they win the case I see £2- £3 maximum .

If they lose this could go to pennies quite easily .

A risky bet indeed .

It certainly did seem positive u til very recently @rover . Fortunately I had not started buying around the 10p mark so my losses won’t be a great as some unfortunately.

Let’s hope for that miracle as clean nickel does seem to be in demand at the moment .

Could this come out of administration should a deal be done ?

Could shareholders see any of there investment back ?

Or is this a total loss ?

Interesting theory on Wakefield there B2hs2l . This is what you would expect from a man who cares and has passion for the company he chairs and represents.

However ……. Based on his past performances.

More than likely James Wakefield will just ring up a large takeaway order and carry on showing disinterest and nonchalance whilst taking a large income . I doubt he will even update his webpage showing any allegiance or acknowledgment of representation between himself and Novacyt .

He has shown no passion or drive regarding Novacyt in the last 5 years in any AGM or presentation .why would he start now or after winning the court case ???

Hopefully many lessons were learned with the issues from the last drill and it can be completed much faster and on time so we can start extracting oil quicker .

I really hope Novacyt does win the case , mainly for some of the great LTH who have lost a lot of money here since its glory days . You guys know who you are ..

However could the outcome be less favourable for Novacyt the company could be in a lot of trouble financially and with an even worse reputation for trust with any new potential customers and a CEO with a very questionable history I still think there is a huge gamble in investing even now .
