Looking at MYN's assets, 300K was invested in Block Energy plc, 90K in equity and 210K by convertible loan, convertible into shares in Block Energy plc at a 10% discount when they list on AIM. I note that BE received the $600K they were due to receive from the sale of their Ghanaian assets at the end of February and they received 150K before expenses from the issue of a Loan Note back in December. So BE is getting closer now to listing on AIM.
I note that they are not on the prospective listings LSE list yet, but subject to obtaining further funding to acquire the remainder of the Norio field in Georgia, they appear to be ready to list in the next quarter. They had intended to list this quarter, but as usual, these things take longer than usual.
Will Eddie cash in on their listing? May well depend on what he considers their prospects are and/or whether the cash would be useful for the 2018 work programme, but a useful asset to have.
