RE: RLE's results6 Aug 2023 16:36
As a holder of both RGL & RLE I have to say I am more than happy with both of them. I appreciate that for those who bought a few years back at a much higher price they are down on paper. You only make a loss on a sale then again if you use the loss against a tax gain on another share then in reality have you really lost? Mmmmm one for debate surely. I am fortunate that my average for RGL is 58p so yes I am down but I am confident in the recovery of RGL and more importantly, for me, the excellent dividend return. What an excellent way to increase your ISA allowance with this tasty dividend? We are here for long term so whilst the share price is lower and the dividend is higher these will auto adjust over the coming months and years. Continued good fortune to all RGL , and RLE, shareholders and I hope that your gains always exceed your losses. Rgds S
As an added question I wonder what you all think about some M&A activity amongst our REIT's . Personally I think there are massive synergies to be made - watch this space!!!! Happy with all my REIT shares and only wish I discovered them earlier. I hold REIT's in RGL, RLE, AEW, LXI and AIRE and am so pleased to get a dividend payment every month!!! Keep the faith and keep making money whenever you can people. Rgds S
