H1 results ARE out and the sp has fallen off a cliff. Gullible me was drawn into this by Justin but from now on will sell any share he recommends. His is the kiss of death I am sorry to say
Some familiar names here... Hello all.
Most disappointed by the price at the other place but the market is not in good humour with anyone not generating shed loads of cash. Like some of you I may stick in a couple of k and leave it to simmer for a few years and see what turns up but I suspect there will be numerous cash calls diluting our 54%
That's £5m in 6 months which if it were £10m in 12 months gives us an undemanding PE particularly with the new revenue streams and ramp up in production. That's why my money IS here...
The market is in unforgiving mood. Assets seem to count for nought. Cashflow is all. Therefore if there is an hour of euphoria upon launch you just know it will fizzle out. Until there is actual cash generation I doubt either Greenroc or Alba's share price will go anywhere. It's a question of patience will be rewarded I believe
No, it doesn't but I regard this as a buying opportunity. The market is in unforgiving mood and is marking anything down harshly that is not hard cash generation. Assets, technology and future earnings count for very little at the moment so there are bargains to be had for the long term investor with vision
Mr Milky, I hope you were able to join the meeting. I tried for 20 minutes and gave up. Was it any good, should I seek out the recording?
Well it ain't me. On the contrary, every time I buy more - no matter at how low a price they continue to fall further and as a consequence I am well below the waterline. I cannot understand this frustrating share.
Has anyone checked if Halifax allow us to hold NASDAQ shares; if not I will ask
Has it told us anything we didn't know?
Excellent, thank you both. It's encouraging to know that we are starting from such a low base and the magnitude of the potential growth in value.
Thank you Jimzi, these valuable benefits were not clear in the Linkedin post
"Don't forget ProAxis is valued at zero!!"
Not strictly true, the 2020 annual report lists fair value of our 95% stake at £3.5m

I have been trying to understand the actual market cap of Hutchmed for a while and would be grateful if anyone could cast some light on the question.
The HutchMed website lists the market capitalisation for all three markets:
GBP 5,289.93
US$ 7,410.66
HK$ 56,788.91
what I want to know is, is the Hutchmed market cap the sum of all three markets? Or given that an identical number of shares is listed in Hong Kong as in London and the market cap figures are almost the same, can one assume the market cap of HK plus London is £5,289.93 because these are the same shares. So what about America? Do we add that sum to arrive at the total market cap - or are they also the same shares but in ADR form? Useful in understanding where we might be heading over the next couple of years, thank you.

I presume in mid September Greenroc will gave its own board on LSE
Captures the exhalations of patients: it is hard to see the practical benefit this piece of kit confers (apart from the utterly trivial "greenhouse" gases). "on a global scale in terms of climate change and sustainability" Has the world gone mad?
It's not Aquis per se but that you get to deal only through companies like HL, that's the real problem. No online dealing and no real prices. One may as well be placing orders by second class mail and settling with a cheque so far as they are concerned, no attempt to embrace the 21st Century
I tried buying as I realised I have pitifully few when with a 4% rise I was just £200 ahead. Failed to do so on Halifax but will keep trying
Thank you.
How much of PDSB do we own?
