What tentative timeline do you set for gov Elisa test purchase announcement?

I agree, today Boris announces infrastructure/schools building program. It would be a boost for his government if they announced a British consortium for tests, best of British and all that.

No data is affecting share price. GDR are fully aware of that. On Friday they retweeted the investor presentation when the SP was 10% down. The have a track record of poor communication, so for them to retweet something proves they were rattled too.

Last Friday was the first time we had a 10% decrease in SP in a long while. Today it was 10% too at one point. There is a pattern forming. To curb the decline they need to release some positive news it’s as simple as that. Every day without news will decrease the SP. if not by day then by overall week.

I just read something on the ODX board posted by merchantbanker which is appropriate for your SWOT analysis.

‘Some of the early adopters will be run out of town because better products will come to market. We are dealing in those next generation tests.’

This for me puts more pressure on GDR to deliver. if you can’t replace an existing supplier who has an inaccurate test then share holders should really be worried. Our claim is to have the best test amongst its competitors.

Need approval for India too mate.
So looks like no news in June. Hence SP decline.

I bought into the hype Re: DF but actually only had a 10-15% mark up in mind for DF. Which would have been spread through out the day so easy to get in an out.

What surprised me was the speed of the SP decline. It’s a strange one tbh. I bought the dip at 43.75 and JAdam has bought in too.

The potential is here, and odx is one step closer to mass production. It’s hard to believe we had such a significant drop on good news. I think by Aug this should get to 55-60p with some sales numbers.

It wouldn’t be surprising if this was 1-2% up tomorrow

Truth is you need a balanced bb to understand what’s going on. This board until recently had an over abundance of rampers. Anyone could have been sucked in. Especially if they were new. There is one thing genuinely thinking a share will do well, another thing falsifying ramps to suck others in.

One ramper said he had a sell target of 150p last week (Prob without thinking) but he was constantly posting he’s been buying the dip since 190p. You tell me how that makes sense.

He’s a liar and the disappointing thing is this guy is a ramp favourite here. That pretty much says it all for me. Even the rampers have forgotten what they are ramping about now.

Some blatantly lie to suit their agenda. When the first posts for June news were coming out they were quickly shot down by the ramp crew with comments that DB said update in July. This was either incompetence or lies again as what DB says in the presentation was crystal clear, market sensitive news in June.

The product on paper is great. That’s the only reason I’m still here. If it was another run off the mill test it would have been time to sell out.

pls see my previous posts, i proved it using a transcript from DB presentation that sales data is not specifically for July. If anything its June.

The July update is one GDR are obliged to do as their fiscal year ends in June. DB says that.

With all due respect, that is a stupid thing to say, the general public dont manage the crisis, the governments do.
If the government imposed a lockdown tomorrow, you have to oblige by the rules.

The governments have to be ready for wave two regardless of whether it comes or not. They will be crucified in come winter there are testing shambles and lack of PPE.

Every government faces the same challenges.

Im in the same boat as you, and i think Magsy has nailed it today with his posts. I look at my investments with as much objectivity as possible.

NCYT SP started to get some traction, and that is what concerns me. The market are past backing potential, they want to see orders and revenue.

Couldn’t agree more about a false economy. The governments are absolutely inept.

Every town in the country should have access to a free test on demand for every citizen. This is not because I’m invested in GDR or ODX. It’s a basic necessity now until a long term vaccine is found. Instead our governments are too busy filling the pockets of the rich / the donors / the connected ones. Propping up the stock markets... it’s just horrible, but the small people don’t matter.

I think one of the issues is this false economy the yanks have created and to some extents the brits and Europeans too.

Trump is only worried about reelection in Nov, Bozo knows that after all the people who have died if he lets the economy tank he’s toast.

Until the government keeps propping up the industries (not saying it’s a bad thing) the wider investors don’t need to concern themselves with testing stocks or largely even worry about Covid. There are better recovery plays in the market and less risky, so the money is going there.

It’s basically milking the system.

That’s a great post. Are you aware of a better PCR test than the GDR test?

A bad second wave could absolutely overwhelm the NHS.

They say a second wave is always worse than the first one. Coupled with cold weather, flu, cold, winter, people inside more than outside.

Just wanted to share a different perspective. It’s not in the bag. Approvals are massive. Anyone who thinks if we don’t get FDA our SP will stay as is, is wrong. I know the risk. I’m still here.

I’m a realist. And the heading for this thread is pros and cons.

My pro was fda will bag us at least 25%, I’m glad you’ve checked and corroborated how WHO got us 50%+ over two days.

Cons if we fail FDA. Don’t think the SP will stay as is.

And at least we have a product going to FDA. That itself is a huge positive. Like ST says, others don’t even have a product.

The current SP looks to be what it was pre covid.
