The Government supported the creation of the UK Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC) back in April. The idea was that the companies and institutions involved, including Abingdon Health, would create a rapid antibody test. On 2nd June, Government awarded a contract worth £10million to Abingdon Health for the materials needed to produce the test. On 14th August, they handed Abingdon Health another contract worth a staggering £75million.

So the lawsuit against the Gov states....handed another contract for 75m??!!?!

1m test cannot cost 75m, so this must be another contract.....Err isn’t this the contract which was denied by Walbrook but the document on Bid tender explicitly said 75m contract?

So how can gov get sued for a contract they have NOT given... or have Abi got this contract in which case why did Walbrook deny it?

I wonder if this news was suppressed to not get public attention??

I think it’s the top test. Jammy gits at Harley are just scamming people, they’ll let you pull the blood at home but you have to send it in for the results. They’ll just put your blood on the LFT and give you results. (I think) says in the description right??

Before anyone goes round starting rumours, our test works on both vaccines.
Our test checks the immune response basically meaning do you have antibodies or not. It does not check if you have been infected with Covid-19 in the past.

I still think this needs more awareness and ill be asking CK to retweet the Ciga tweet, news of the Oxford vaccine could be as early as next week. But if the awareness is there, this could really help RTC moving forwards.

Courtesy doesn’t cost a penny and that’s one thing he excels at.

Things may not be perfect in ODX land but the poor guy replies to all emails and I’ve never once detected any arrogance or annoyance in his responses.

Our test tests you whether you have got immunity, not whether you have had it or not. It picks up the antibodies ONLY.

Where people go wrong is getting mixed up between what the test can and cant do. When a vaccine rolls out the RTC expect the take up of these tests to check for immune responses.

And its not just about **** tests, its about training staff etc, they needed to do this regardless, to get folks up to speed with how things will operate in the future.
