Tofacitinib is a mainly Jak3 inhibitor. jak 3 is known to have serious side effects and has a black box warning issued by the NDA. Furthermore Jak 3 it does not inhibit Interleukin 10 and more importantly Interleukin 6. To a lesser extent Jak 1 and Jak 2 provide a limited control of Interferon gamma and Interleukin 6. The compound is far from being selective enough. It does not press all the keys that are required and presses some of the keys that are not required. The words chocolate and fireguard come to mind.
The problems are there are too many Bengal Lancers, ie pharmaceutical companies who are trying to get their compound into the market for big bucks of a worldwide treatment. They dont give a monkeys how many people succumb to serious side affects as governments have authorised their use. of course no suggestion of back handers to decision makers.

Epstein Barr virus-associated post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder has been observed at an increased rate in renal transplant patients treated with tofacitinib while on immunosuppressive medications. Patients are warned to avoid use of tofacitinib citrate during an "active serious infection, including localized infections." Doctors are advised to use it with caution in patients who may be at increased risk of gastrointestinal perforations. Laboratory monitoring is recommended due to potential changes in lymphocytes, neutrophils, haemoglobin, liver enzymes, and lipids.

Epstein Barr virus is cosidered to be the cause of around 200,000 world wide deaths of cancer each year.

Mny will be day traders that have no idea of the science. Yes of course they will slate Trevor after all his objective to make money is no different to the day traders. Trevor has not invested here to lose. He is very shrewd.

Share price has been hammered so a good time to add. Approved Sepsis test would be adequate in the near future. Early diagnosis and treatment is vital, it kills over 11 million a year. That is 3x as many as Covid 19.

I would guess that the patents are not for a single a molecule but a series of molecules. Adjustments can be made to compounds by the addition or subtraction of individual molecules. Crystalisation of a compound should play its part soon. That just my take.
1801 can treat 10's of auto immune diseases. However it is not a one compound fits all. There are some very important rairy simple molecules that they have formulated. They have their kinase inhibitor library. I would also guess that this inhibitor library will indicate specific molecules for specific diseases.
Should this be the case then Sareum have the pharmaceutical world pretty will sewn up and light years ahead of the competition.

All credit due to Sareum. They have demonstrated their ability to raise 5 million pounds in funding. They are now eligible for minimum of 30 million pound funding. SDC 1801 and 1802 the ball is rolling and into trials.

Most importantly they have achieved this with brilliant patented compounds and support from HNWl's. No involvement from a pharma. Sareum in control of their own destiny. Clearly they will not entertain consortiums that may need money to fund something else, delay trials whilst looking at other options, or not prepared to pay what Sareum are worth.

Molnupiravir is an anti viral. Anti virals are ok until their effectiveness wears off.

It is not a case of trashing a competitors product or taking it down a peg or two. You do not make your own furniture any better by going next door and chopping your neighbours furniture up, Anti virals have their uses. They attempt to stem viral reproduction, as opposed counteract or prevent the damage that a virus does. In the case of SDC1801, reduction or prevention of a cytokine storm.

In theory if you can down regulate, then you can also prevent. Dose dependant of course and should provide, not only prevention but also an effective immunity to the current mutation of the sufferer.

There is also the risk of a newer and more dangerous mutations appearing in the future. The anti viral will need updating as will all vaccines and anti virals in a world of playing never ending catch up to the virus.

Since SDC1801 is a kinase inhibitor, for the treatment of auto immune conditions it therefore has no need to be updated to treat the Gain of function orientated Covid 19 that reportedly originated from Wuhan.

In our findings we report that 6-week treatment of lupus-proneNZBxNZWF1 mice with small molecule inhibitor of Tyk2Jak1 significantly lowers the pathological auto-antibody production. Similar treatment in MRLlpr model of lupus did not have any effect. The treatment ofNZBxNZWF1 mice also leads to a drop in the number of germinal centers in the spleen as well as a decrease in spleen weights. Since lupus is a chronic disease, we think that a prolonged treatment 6 weeks will show more profound effects on other lupus related disease pathologies like kidney damage. Over all, the treatment has shown potential for significantly improving the disease pathology in NZBxNZWF1 mouse model of lupus.

I would hazard a guess nothing to do with Lupus at all, but sounds very much better and less catastrophic than effects against a weapons grade corona virus .

According to the Lupus Foundation of America, approximately 1.5 million people in the U.S. have lupus. People of African, Asian, and Native American descent are more likely to develop lupus than are Caucasians. Although it can occur in both men and women, 90% of people diagnosed with the disease are women.

I certainly would not see a threat to the military with these figures, Approx 1 in 300 people have Lupus and of these 90% are women. Clearly the US military have identified this as a problem that needs looking at.

News is good for our SDC1801. Figures are ****e and looks to have a positive spin.
Indicates size of group as 101. Some were on placebo.
How many fatalities actually were there in the placebo group?
Were a broad spectrum of different ages, sexes and race similar in both groups.
Myself I would look at it as the figures have been concocted to make it look a lot better than it is.

Ell Lilley and Incyte I reckon getting desperate, 5 hitting themselves of the idea that our SDC1901 will wipe the floor with them . Just think of the big bucks they will lose out on. No Jak 2 and no to little toxicity, and certainly no serious side effects. on our SDC1801.

Most people look to blame the government. There are people that advise the government.
You only have to look at the US. That weasel Fauci stating the Corona virus was not not man made and he was 99% certain it was of natural origin.

It comes to light later that he has been funding Wuhan institute of virology since 2017 on Gain of Function.

It is so easy with hindsight.

I had whooping cough as a young child. Basically unheard of nowadays. Gets its name 'whooping' from the noise you make after a cough. Lots of ailments we had as children, measles, chicken pox, mumps, were very common too. Our immune systems were able to cope then.

Meanwhile, back in Beijing. 92k cases in a population of 1.4 billion looks impressive, only 4000 deaths. Some idiots will believe this.
One thing is for sure with this delta outbreak, is it should indicate the effectiveness of the Chinese vaccines, about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe me thinks.

Should our compound prove effective in human trials of which I have no doubt then it is a no brainer. Mind bogglingly, blowing the doors clean right off, market cap.
The very nature and before we start on human trials we have no horrible, severe side affect, black box warnings.
In this instance I can see no reason for it not to be used in preventative therapy on its own and perhaps with an anti viral but myself see no need.

A great post from you as usual Citizen79. One thing I will stress, is unlike vaccines and anti virals whereby Covid 19 can develop immunity and hence they less become ineffective, by adjusting our immune systems with an effective immuno inhibitor. it is not going to matter how much, or how often the virus mutates, as our SDC1801 will render the virus harmless, no matter how much it chooses to hide.

It really does open an enormous can of worms. Effectively a weapons grade virus.

Interestingly the Chinese had carried out tests of local inhabitants around the Bat caves near Wuhan. Antibodies were detected in some of these people. However, very little problems had evolved in the local community near the bat caves. No mention of the pangolin either.

Not looking at blame here, it is always better to try and deal with the facts of what and how something happened and not very badly presented misinformation. They will know should these tests have happened of exactly which other virus it was reverse engineered and cleaved with.

It will be around for a while yet, of that we can be sure.

It dont add up. Circa 90k cases recorded since outbreak, so why the need to test 11 million people in Wuhan? Perhaps some were forensic lab cleaners. Not many reported deaths in China either. Cannot see what the fuss is all about.
