G: It's my bad use of language, the indicators don't actually tell you when to buy or sell. They are a mathematical average, if you like, over the period and it indicates when the current share price is getting outside of a range(which you can configure) which MIGHT indicate an iminent change of direction of the share price. I use them a lot, they are certainly not foolproof. I saw the stochastic being used on IG daily briefing and it looked useful. I don't understand the underlying maths, but if you have ever looked at ,say, 20 and 100 day moving averages, think of these indicators as a more advanced version of them.

I won't rush to sell but remain a little chairy about the inevitable profit taking that will occur this afternoon.....there be strangers in the OCDO share register right now and I am afraid that lots of them will want out. However, a number of PIs selling doesn't phase me but if the serious holders decide to sell for the weekend then I am worried, although I think they know this is a value share and won't bother selling for an extra half a crown, I hope.

G: Vulnax and I are using W%R and Stochastic indicators which run parallel with the share price and give an indication of when to trade, both if buying or selling. I am using them with my IGG charts, V is using them with HL charts. If you are on HL they should be available to you.

Not I, I'm shattered, done 21 trades. Just sold ASC.
How confident are you T about a serious shake on OCDO. If you are convinced, then I will sell half of mine perhaps.

Just realised that OCDO hit their all time high price today (according to IG charts) and are now resting at the same price they were a year ago. Crisis? What crisis?

Retired? RETIRED? I've never worked so hard. The small profits I am making at the moment pale beside the serious losses I have made on HUR, TLW etc etc

I am glad the price has drifted back up so my purchases are now around par.
I was a bit bored and had an alert from SAGA so I bought back in for 7.7% more shares.
I've only done 16 trades so far today, it's a slow day. LOL

Feeling stupid bought OCDO too early.
Bought back into FRES for 1% more shares (V: your 3% share increase is lots)
Some one in Brigade mentioned MKS so bought some earlier and just sold for 3.2% profit. Thanks.

V: 3.2% is a healthy gain, proves you are well into the system.
I know T will flood out some figures along the line " x000 shares sold at plip, buy back at plop, do it 4000 times a week and voila, elderado". (sorry T). But it is true, keep in the game and over time you will be in front of your set backs.

Just made a rookie error, bought 2nd tranche of OCDO at 1429 but put wrong figure in, got fewer than I should have bought. Doh

Lost patience, bought OCDO at 1429 for 3.1% more shares

Rebought PFC for 174 that I sold yesternow, now got 2.6% more shares.
Was sorely tempted by that 1423 low on OCDO but hanging out for a lower figure.
Need some guidance on MCRO, I keep missing the good uplifts and I think I am actually consistently going DOWN on the number of MCRO shares held. Currently I have none.

managed a sale on second tranche of OCDO at 1483, low, I know but only bought 2 tranches yesterday at 1436 and 1425.
Remember it's friday (is that the treacle triple witching?) 2 reasons could be this afternoon profit takers selling driving prices down. The second reason is people not wanting to hold stock over the weekend. Two days is an awfully long time in present climate. Be sure what stock your are happy to hold over the weekend. SadAct....please read this last sentence.

Sold OCDO at 1514 (one tranche) FRES at 600 and FEVR at 936.
Couldn't get a price on 2nd tranche of OCDO and by the time I had set a limit they had fallen.
I stupudly sold my MCRO yesterday so I'm fuming that I missed that spike. Doh!

V: Thanks for the bookkeeping suggestions, I have all that info available to me on IG and have experimented with downloading it into Excel, dong some sorts and yes, I think that will be the solution. Thanks.
