Is it just my imagination or is this morning's trend very similar to yesterday's? I know, it is no indication of things to come but I guess today similar low volume to yesterday.

When I tried to buy OCDO at 08.07 on quote, several times IG refused, so I set a limit buy at the current buy price which immediately started to fill, it took 7 steps over 2 minutes to completely fill. I was concerned at the time that the first partial fill (only 18% of my order) would be the only one and I would have to make another order. In all my trading, I have only been aware half a dozen times of the actual matching of shares between buyer and seller right on the cusp of a price change. Obviously affected by volume as well.

What are you predicting for a peak on OCDO, T?

I have to admit I bought back into NMC again, scary and very profitable (for now)

Now was that a dip? Hope so, bought back at 1142.9 but only 1.1% more shares

could we be about to get to base of a dip? about 1149.6?

I have been chainsawing some wood for the woodstove but several alerts brought me in, they are suggesting I sell the SAGA that I bought earlier but I have reset the alerts, I am expecting a little more than 1.8% more shares. I will possibly regret that.
Mixed feeling about the new platform, it has certainly caused me to make one mistake already and for some reason, they are obsuring the live BUY and SELL prices when I have a "quote ticket" open.
Also, the alert system is really quite different, some features of it I like but others I don't.
I suppose I will persevere with it for a while and maybe go back to the old one if I still can't stand it.

Wishful thinking I suppose.
Going to play with the new IG platform, try and get more familiar with it during this quiet time.

I am starting to think OCDO is going to break up to £12 today.
Trying to buy my 2nd tranche of SAGA, think I might have missed the minimum that occured at 10am, I was probably doing something else.
Also missed a worthwhile spike and shake on LLOY earlier. On the whole, not a good day

No, didn't sell. The reason, and you'll like this, was that I was too busy selling OCDO for which I managed to only get 1163.
So basically, I messed up both deals by trying to do two things at once. Incredibly, it doesn't happen to me very often. You can now send me a reply headed "I told you so"

Back into profit with NMC, think I will have my money back please.
Bought back into SAGA 2.5% down and the spread reduced although I have only bought using half of previous sale proceeds.
OCDO positive again.

SAGA has been up 2.1% and is currently down 1.93% and it is only 9 am. The spead is a bit large at the moment for me.
Got 2 alerts set on NMC and 2 fingers crossed, LOL, this is no way to run a trading operation.

Yes, have been thinking about it all night. Actually nearly did sell some at 1149 on the way down, I had a ticket open and pressed the wrong button. Iblame the new IG platform so I have reverted to the old one.

NMC nicely recovering from giving me a heart attack. Drat, I had a limit sale on them at 790, just didn't get there.

Over the last 4 weeks, I haven't traded OCDO much so cannot report much success there. However, over the same period using your system with SAGA and LLOY has been well worthwhile. Take SAGA, when I sold them this week, I had 33.5% more shares than 4 weeks ago due to several spike/shake transactions. The share price had DROPPED from 50p to 41.54, when I sold them, but the value of my holding had INCREASED by 11.15%. Results on LLOY are positive but not as startling. Results on HUR are not in yet. Nervous to work them out because of the dramatic fall they suffered but I am certain the results are better than if I had just held them.
I might have 2 eggs for breakfast tomorrow.
