USA nerve steadiness is a bit unnerving, they are usually very quick to overreact.
Trying to do some prep for ASC tomorrow. Range today was very nearly 150p or 5%, a very useable range, especially without stamp duty. I am looking at the chart on HL. Easy to say this in retrospect but I can imagine making 4 sell/buy deals on that graph that would perhaps add up to 110/120p with luck but timing is everything. I am thinking about how difficult calling the spikes and shakes was today (although you did get one absolutely spot on)
I remember when I was about 13, going on a visit to see a LEO machine at the Lyons offices in Holborn. A school visit. I walked inside the central processor "room", about 10 foot square with racks of valves on all the walls. A team of engineers were needed all the time to keep it running. A run of 20 minutes without breakdown was considered a good period. I was hooked. I started making an analogue computer for a school project, then a digital added using an old GPO uniselector, used in exchanges. Those were the days........feed into Monty Python Secret Policeman's Ball sketch. Ha
We're playing against a machine....no chance of winning, I am just trying for a little above break even.
1309 to sell ALERT...you must be selling more to buy back today or first thing tomorrow on the fall?
Well I really thought 1302 might be the top.
Have been trying to get this "new" computer working, it works but having to transfer files etc from the old machine.
I hope I can gactually get rid of the old machine...it has 3.5 and 5.25 floppy disc drives from back when I had to use them for my work, before god was a boy that is.
pointless really but during yesterday's sell off I considered buying 2 shares just for a couple of days, I made a note of them. first was IGG at 666 to buy yesterday, now 679 to sell
second was SAGA at 41.8 to buy yesterday, now 44.68 to sell
as I say, pointless
