Topped up today as I feel the rising oil price will drive up brine supply.

The sell price edged up slightly today, to 13.91p, for large blocks. There is a buyer trying to hover up here IMO.

It appears that there is now a large buyer at 13.88p, and has been for a few days. Possible stake build at this ridiculously cheap price? Low volumes but they are soaking up what they can.
They probably don't have long, the half year report will most likely show a bumper profit.

Interesting reference to FTSE 250 in the latest RNS. Possible forward reference?

The cut is a bit severe. Should bounce from here?

I'm no chartist, but to me the last 2 months looks like a cup and handle forming, which could indicate we're in for a surge. A longer view looks like a bowl forming, another strong formation. DYOR.

I see that indmin also reported this week that the shipping container chaos is likely to continue, due to a world wide shortage of 4m containers.

More good news with tightening iodine prices. I believe this will help move us up to a more reasonable trading level. Could be the last chance to purchase in the 13p to 14p range this week? If we get good production stats in July and confirmation of bumper H1 in late August the trading range could shift up considerably IMO. As always DYOR!

Best to use your own judgement as to value of the company. It will right in the end, just need some patience.

I don't buy into any conspiracy theory! More fake news IMO. Just people trading like lemmings. Or groups of traders, trying to manipulate the market without the need to notify individually. I know this goes on because someone copied me into a rather sensitive email a number of years ago.

Very few will sell out here while the company continues its buy back programme. So that alone will keep driving the price up.
Personally I think while this strategy runs we will keep rising. The danger is that the company is overpaying for shares and creating the start of a bubble.
On the other hand it could still keep going up, which is why I continue to hold here.

Yep, will take a bit of time to correct to where we should be, as we get rid of the 10% profit takers. Reckon by the Q2 report in July we should be significantly higher. Got an eye open for the May indmin report, due very soon.

Really encouraging to be rising in very high volume. We should break out to 17p to 18p quite quickly IMO. DYOR.

I have to agree with you Matt. However, I've only reduced to 4% of my portfolio. I refuse to sell all of my holding in such a well run company. Will keep holding around the 4% level for the foreseeable future.

WTI oil price over $65 in lower demand. The price of oil is not exactly set in a free market. Many countries depend on oil income. I personally agree with the many experts who reckon oil will go up in price rather than down. As I said, it's a hard call, so you are welcome to your view. I guess we will need to agree to differ.

My feeling is that we are entering a prolonged period of green initiatives. It is quite possible oil prices will go higher, on lower demand, as oil companies need to make a profit. The same may apply to Iofina and to all commodity producers. It's a tough call, no-one knows, I'm just going on my gut instinct of what the bigger global picture looks like. The fact that Iofina is a low cost green supplier should help us considerably.
