Trade at 15.20 201 buy spread 199 - 201 you would assume the next trade would be either 199 or 201, but the random 100 "A" trades are back at below the price and bring it back down. you can go back years and see the same pattern. The question is, How do we counteract that, ??

steviewonder77, I have no intention of selling any shares, I will buy enough to use my ISA allowance, if we see further dips. This is a pot that I am happy to trade, if it goes up and I make say 20% I will sell, in my non ISA holding to create a tax loss. If they then dip I might buy back again and vice versa. I do not intend to sell any of my main holding. If they dip further then I will continue to hold.

That is always providing I am able to buy the amount I want at the price I want them at.

Malbright06, if they want to play it this way, this is the only way I can see to take then on at their game. We will see if this works. When I purchase, this will not be a long term play, as I already have more than enough held here which are going to stay but, it will allow me to benefit from using my ISA allowance, and having some tax losses which can be carried forward indefinitely.

It will be interesting to see how many are available and at what price. Not ready to jump in yet as I don't think they have played with it enough yet.

KVZR, I have no problem with paying off bank loans ( Unlike others on here who thought it was a bad thing ) as Peter Hambro had said previously that the bank was putting a lot of restrictions on POG. I think it gave us some financial flexibility at a time when we needed it. I think that flexibility far outweighed any extra interest we may have to pay, and hopefully, once pox hub up and running this will give us even more flexibility and put us in a much more competitive light.

You will never see algo trades as "O" TRADES. as they are Automatic. You will sometimes see them as very small trades below the prevailing price, designed to disrupt the general trading. Gap on spread is then widened and they gradually bring it down. Only difference here, is if they take it down again I might just decide to play them at their own game, by buying some to trade. I should have sold and bought back to ISA investments but, I haven't for fear of selling and not being able to buy back in, but I will do it differently as I intend to buy directly into ISA, then sell the same amount outside of ISA to create a tax loss which can be carried forward indefinitely. I will be watching closely.

pox hub would have been finished, whoever was in charge. It has been too long being built to not be finished. The old board advised where they were. There have been no rapid developments and progress since he came back.

I am not against Pavel, I never have been. But he isn't the messiah. He and his pal Peter were the guys who got us into this mess. I don't mind who gets us out of this, as long as we get out of it fitter healthier and stronger.

I would as Kevin Keegan once said " Just love it" if this share could start an ascent that wasn't just a false dawn. But as Eddie21 says, a transformation. I think Eric Singer will have a very big role to play in how this pans out.

curlykev. I don't think it is being held down by marketmakers, personally, I feel that because of the shorters ( who have to buy at some point ) just loading the algos when volumes decrease. The volumes generally increase around TU time, then after the initial spurt, they get to work with their 100 and 200 trades and also stupid little small trades, which I feel disrupts the trading.

Of course I could be totally wrong, but the shorters have a vested interest in trying to keep the price as low as possible to buy in to close their positions as cheaply as possible. One thing is guaranteed. They wont lose out as they will have already made there money after so many false dawns.

I cant see this being the issue with the bonds, I don't think they would be forced into a highly dilutive rights issue by themselves.

stt1, Funny enough on that one I agree with you. Now there is a first.

The company need to work harder to promote the company, and in their tus to give more than the basic information, but unfortunately they can not control the share price. Until people start believing what they are telling us, and attract people to the potential benefits it will not get the required support and volume to be able to suppress the algos. Presumably the shorters are also controlling the algos.
