I would say its good because people were asking how and when Polygon, were going to close there short. Well we now know the answer, and they have got them at a very low price. Once the short is closed apart from Russian tensions no reason to see why the price should not increase. Still cant see those big profits though ??
Polygon have purchased 5.245264 of financial instruments, Is it not Polygon who have the short ??? Looks like they have found the perfect way to close it ?? And if not Polygon who have the short they have just purchased the rights to buy the above percentage.
Confirmation, This was the buyback after we merged with Taptica.
The Buyback Programme will be independently managed by finnCap Ltd, the Company's broker, which will make trading decisions independently and without the influence of the Company. The Buyback Programme is in accordance with the terms of the Company's authority to make market purchases of its own Ordinary Shares (the "Authority") and will be conducted within certain parameters.
The Buyback Programme will be effected in accordance with the Authority in that the maximum price paid per Ordinary Share is to be no more than 105 per cent. of the average middle market closing price of an Ordinary Share for the five business days preceding the date of purchase. The Buyback Programme will commence today and will continue until 30 September 2019.
Any Ordinary Shares acquired as a result of the Buyback Programme will be reclassified as dormant shares under the Israeli Companies Law (without any rights attached thereon) and will be held in treasury. Any Ordinary Shares acquired as a result of the Buyback Programme will be announced to the market without delay.
Hi Gdog, as far as I was aware we hold them in Treasury. I am 99% sure they are not cancelled.
How you doing ?
Buying back shares cheaper than what you sold them for, is a very good idea, especially if you then use them to help you get another deal done at a higher price.
Deals are often done as a cash and shares deal.
Finderskeepers23 you really need to do your homework, Alya smajority of her shares after leaving the position of director.
This report was NOT commisioned by new BOD, it was forced upon by shareholders who voted for it, with a very big majority. The BOD just had to act on the results, God knows how much it cost and whether we will ever see any of the "supposed" money.
some people on here talking about £2 and £4 it shows how much they know, There was a 15.7 to 1 rights issue so the previous prices are irrelevent unless you divide by 15.7 to 1
Lawrence13 Perhaps Strukhov, wanted more than mates rates to process his stuff, and company refused which is maybe why he voted against Dennis.
No use processing this stuff if it is not profitable.
There has been a distinct lack of communication from the bod. They did say they would engage with major shareholders so maybe duty bound to report what has been going on.
Pity they are not as forthcoming on other areas, maybe all will be revealed in January, Or not.
Freddie2, I have always believed that people should be rewarded for success, especially increasing profits and share price.
I do not believe they should be rewarded extra just because they have a prestigious job.
Lawrence13 may not like it, but UGC are not, in my opinion, wrong on this score. Hopefully January will give us an insight into longer term plans.
I am not sure that the content is unusual, but the mere fact it is put out in a RNS IS.
I am all in favour of " earned " bonuses. I said at the time, that the options were too easy to achieve, The company could perform badly and the share price plunge, but they could still be rewarded with large bonuses and share options. Hopefully any new bonuses will have to be EARNED.
rbrand you paint yourself as someone who knows a lot about a lot of things. I didnt see any news at 6pm as I am driving from work at that time. If you dont want to debate, that suits me fine.
