Dflynch you are wrong they need shareholder approval but that is normally granted every year, but there is a maximum they can buy and a maximum price they can pay
I think this drop might be in sympathy to Hoc ???
Radium1, was it not stated in the presentation that share buybacks, would not be perceived as being a good idea at the moment, due to the recent Nasdaq listing. The wording is probably not exactly as it was said but, I am sure the general theory was that buybacks would not be seen by the nasdaq as a good idea at the moment ??
Sorry, KRSS, the company I work for, pays a lot of money for research, I would rather trust them and the bank of england that a poster on a bulletin board, thanks anyway. Time will tell, who is right
If anyone looks at the bank of England report, it quite clearly shows that they believe the spike in inflation will be temporary, the company I work for has been saying for 6 months that we thought C.P.I inflation might hit 4% , it might go slightly higher but the long term prediction of chi inflation over the next 5 to 10 years is 2 to 2.5%
Thank you Curly, appreciated , my friend.
I would suggest its more likely they will increase rates to try and stem inflation.
Thank you sharenicelynow, my condolences to you to.
Quick question for you. The Tosca RNS has got me confused ? I thought they already had a large holding ? Am I missing something ?
Gdog, my mother was also very frail at the end, away to see her husband again, her dog, and my late wife.
Thanks Radium1 and Gdog, appreciated, Yes Gdog, she was 91, had a very good innings, considering she only had 1 kidney for 50 years. Very sad, but in a way a relief, as I have cared for her the last 2 years and she was very very frail at the end.
Still she will me missed.
Thank you null, good luck, stay clear of the " C "
Talking about NHS I tried for 2 days to ring the doctor for my mother, total of over 2 hours, still didn't get through, Eventually had to send an email on the prescription line, Got a phone call explained the symptoms, and was told I suppose we had better send someone then, Someone came, and said, do you think she should go into hospital ? I said yes, she ordered an ambulance at 2pm, she said it might take 4 hours, It eventually came at 9.53 pm. Sadly my mother died 2 days later in hospital. Personally I have been waiting for an operation for over 12 months.
maybe its one of the things that should be asked, i.e. why are share options not linked to performance. I think its fair that if people do a good job and the company and the share price prospers they should be paid for that, But, what happens if they perform badly. Heads they win, tails they don't lose. !!!!
Dog, they were most definitely discussed on here. Not in the detail they are being talked about now, but certainly discussed.
I can not believe that people were not aware of these bonuses, I have commented on these for years and was pilloried at the time for calling them " Freebies "
Gdog, I know you did not ask me, but there are different types of share options. Most of the ones I have seen in Tremor vest consecutively after 3 years. They have had these for years and got more for the Nasdaq listing and when agreed last year. My thought are share options should be earned and based on a multitude of things such as growing revenues, growing profit and EBITDA, and share price increase. That gives an incentive for the directors to increase all these. The majority of tremors do not need to have any performance related incentives, I have often called them " Freebies" I am in favour of people being incentivised, but not if there is not a target.
By the way I predicted the share price would not hit £9 and would drop.
I did NOT expect the drop we got.
There was always going to be a drop on opening due to the Nasdaq close last night. It is quite amazing, that every time there is an update and a spurt in the share price then it is quickly brought back down to earth.
I suppose the clever people are the people who have been taking advantage of those downturns.
it is unbelievable how many people engage with you know who, and then complain when it replies. Ridiculous that a board is spoiled by tit for tat stupidity, which masks the good posters we have .
Malbright 06 I think the cash position is a little distorted as we raised money on the float on the nasdaq
Radium1, personally I don't think we will get anywhere near £11. But for obvious reasons hope I am wrong.
I am pretty sure the results are before market opens in the UK, so would suggest 7 am.
