How the hell were shareholders diluted by 95%. Show me the Maths, I have shown you my maths even at a share price of up to £4. As long as you took up your rights.

Freddie2 I don't understand your logic, they had 15000 shares cost £60000 could have had another 225000 @ 5p £11500 so now a total of 240000 shares purchase price £71500 225000 @ 27p = £60750 at 40p per share which they were not too long ago that would be £90000 so that would be well in profit,and they could have cut their losses.

That is at a price of £4 a lot of people got in a prices well below that price. Some very clever people ( again not me ) were able to buy shares in the open market at under 5p for a very small time. They, even at todays levels have more than 5 times over made their money/

The rights issue, was not good by anybodies stretch of the imagination, but, a little better than being wiped out altogether, Some, I believe Lawrence 13, and especially Retired Banker have fared better than others.

Freddie 2 I believe the rights issue was 15.7 for every one held at a price of 5p. Anyone who was fortunate, and brave enough to take up their rights, would be well in profit now as it brought the average right the way down. There are numerous people on this board who did take up there rights. I ****ed up, I took them in my SIPP ( not a large holding ) thought I had taken all my rights in my ordinary account, but forgot to post the bloody envelope. MY FAULT nobody elses,

So on a personal note I could have come out of this a lot better, I didn't look at my shareholdings for years ( Idiot ) and couldn't believe what I saw

Even if you knew you couldn't participate in the rights issue you could have sold your holding and bought back cheaper after the rights issue. The ones that would have lost would be the people who bought when the share price was high, missed the rights issue and dint have the money or the will to invest further. If anyone is in that boat, I do apologise, as they could have lost money, if they sold. At lease there is hope, because without the rights issue, we would have gone belly up.

updownflat, you say he diluted the shareholders by 95%, that proves you are deluded, some people, ( not me by the way ) have made very good money by investing in the rights issue at 5p and have made very good profits.

I agree, and I have stated previously the rights issue should have been done at £10 plus when the company was seemingly doing well, but, thats in the past..

As for bonuses the new CEO WAS AWARDED POTENTIAL BONUSES BEFORE HE HAD DONE ANYTHING !!!!! In my opinion bonuses should be awarded for success in a defined manner. Not for INERTIA.

Thanks updownflat, I still think supply and demand has just a big, if not more of a part to play, there have been numerous times when governments, ( including our own ) have held lots of gold. And when it is in short supply the price goes up.

As far as bond rates, hopefully, the very low rates, mean, when we are negotiating the bond maturities next year, we can get a smaller coupon this time, depending on the route they intend to go, Or they could shock us all and have a rights issue, to repay the lot and be debt free, or a bit of both, decisions decisions, and no doubt there are conversations going on now, as there has to be a plan.

It was about the price of gold and I still dont get it. Personally I dont think the price of gold has anything to do with interest rates, they are totally seperate commoodities. So if you like to explain your theories. ?

Anybody, who has an ounce of a brain-cell should think loud and hard about being involved in anything David Lenigas is involved in, He has a history of failed companies and living an exotic lifestyle on the backs of the shareholders.

Wouldn't touch anything he is involved in with a bargepole. Anybody in his position who tweets price sensitive information should lot be allowed anywhere near companies.

Use due diligence before ever getting involved and do your own research, not listening to someone who has a vested interest.

OSTEOSINGH, I am in exactly the same boat, didn't event look at the values of the stocks. But watched the share price dive, and thinking, that did not look in tandem with what was actually going on. I think the next update in about a month should give us a lot more info.

ostesingh, the best advice I can give you. Is do not come onto a bulletin board for advice. The reason is quite simple. We all have our own agendas. Some are real and some will give you their life stores, others have an agenda and will always have a negative point of view.

Best thing I can say is look at results, look at forecasts going forward, compare us with our peers, then make a grounded view.

But, I repeat, make your own investment decisions, then there is no blame game attached. Think about what made you make your initial investment decision, and whether the present operation is better than what you originally invested into.

If you feel there is more to go on the share price, stay. If you are worried sell some, and reduce your exposure, if you don't like what you see, Sell.

I am in the same boat, at one point I didn't think I had a paddle. Now I think I have 2 oars, will be interesting to see how hard I can push those oars. We are due an update within the next month or so, that could have a major effect on the share price. But you pays your money you make you own choices, do not be guided my anyone on this site, Including ME.... Good luck whatever you decide.
