The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Don’t deflect Buzz. Can you confirm that their have been eyes on the gates 24/7, or to make it easier for you, between 7am and 7pm every day continuously since testing began. Simple question. Answer, yes or no.
No good coming on here and making negative statements and thinking everyone will take your word for gospel. Up until last week, you were ramping the cr&p out of this.
That’s the point Buzz. No one knows unless they’re outside 24/7. If you don’t know for sure, it’s best to shut up. I certainly don’t know for sure. People assume UKOG will tweet every tanker which leaves, which of course is ridiculous. People also assume the guys are stationed outside the gates all day and all night, and of course they’re not.
So, like I said, get yourself down there full time, then you can keep us all informed by posting fact instead of garbage.
Buzz. What I suggest you do is get yourself down to the gates at HH 24/7, and then you can report accurately on how many tankers are going in and out. Until then, you haven’t got a clue, just like anyone else on here, and anything you post is pointless. Agreed?
Impatience. The RNS on initial flows was excellent. We know for a fact they have been using various different stroke rates, choke sizes and shut in periods for pressure build up. We know of some tanker movement, but not all. Some were tweeted by UKOG, and others were not. The guys who visit the site can’t be there all the time, and to be fair we’re lucky to have them visit at all.
Recently from twitter we know the pump was possibly running at maximum. All in all everything looks good, and we are not due an RNS until the Portland results have been finalised. Also remember, the Portland is the secondary play. The Kimmeridge is the main play.
The SP is disappointing atm but it’s got nothing to do with operations at site. Reasons for the drift have already been discussed.
Buzz. Why until the 150 day test ends? Within that 150 day test there are 4 layers. Upper Kimmeridge, Lower Kimmeridge, Mid Kimmeridge and Portland. The Portland is in the final stages.
So that’s at least four updates we are due, as we have been promised. If and most likely when, each of those final test results released are positive, it will strengthen the SP.
As discussed on here the sp is still suffering because of the overhang. That can’t go on forever, and once it’s cleared we’ll see a huge difference.

Twitter comment:-
‘Dont forget to close your positions by close of business this evening (Unless you can cover it)
The new margins come into force after market close this evening ..... so you could come back Monday to a big margin call if you dont close them’
Wouldn’t that be a shame!
Good work by admin. Been going on far too long on this board. Blatant lies, and misleading information all covered by the use of Imo at the end. Not any more.
FCA need to get involved and make an example of one of the more prolific trolls. Let’s hope it’s Scandic.

Funny I just mentioned google. Here is the term Oil Pool explained in the Schlumberger Glossary.
1. n. [Geology]
A subsurface oil accumulation. An oil field can consist of one or more oil pools or distinct reservoirs within a single large trap. The term "pool" can create the erroneous impression that oil fields are immense caverns filled with oil, instead of rock filled with small oil-filled pores.
Erroneous = Wrong.
One of the problems we have is that the majority of investors here do not have a clue what is involved in an Extended well test. (Me included, before I discovered google) That lack of knowledge is used to the advantage of the traders and shorters like Krackenoil for example, who reinforce the no tankers, no oil rhetoric.
It appears some believe that the EWT is a straightforward process. I.e. Kango hammer to knock out the cement plugs, big hosepipe down the hole and the other end into the storage tank, bicycle pump. Tankers queuing to remove oil = Flow rate.
Any deviation from that scenario = panic sell.
The more enlightened will realise, that it’s a complicated process involving chokes, shut ins, pressure build ups, and then finally when all that’s done they may be able to come up with stable flow rates.
Rather than listen to the pond life on here who try and fill your heads with reasons to not invest, its better to research and reinforce the reasons you did invest in the first place. GLA genuine investors.
