A total shambles.
As previously stated nearly 3 weeks and no one at avacta, mologic or an agency chased the most important of ‘rubber stamps’ is truly sickening when we need this product to open up our country.
Heads should roll. They won’t though as smith is the boss and his ‘shortly’ statements mean jack **** .
He’s lucky that he can hide behind computer chats and answer questions digitally at this time. Truly disappointing and totally incomprehensible that NO ONE picked up on what was a document error.

Yes i understand those things you mention need testing, but as the accelerated speed of vaccines continues many on that list will be vaccinated. Obviously as you say other areas may well need testing .........but trains ? I don’t see that and i don’t see stadiums either (unless we have a 100% app with a test available). Look, i hope i am wrong but al hasn’t done it yet and as everyday goes by i think the gov are more happier to shut things down and keep virus contained until vaccines are widespread. This is my feeling as government has or appears to of gone silent on testing. Even shapps thought testing queues at french border was pointless.

Is it me but there seems to be much less talk about testing (worrying). As more and more people are vaccinated there becomes less need for testing. I wonder this ; that government are prepared to wait and let the vaccine take hold very gradually (over 3,6, 9, 12 months) which will then require less tests, so much so that gov will gradually let the country re-open, letting more businesses slowly to get back to normal. Letting more people into stadiums etc . Ime now in this stock for cancer products and affirmer sales. Yes if you need to travel abroad get a test, but i feel the public will wait now that vaccine is rolling out. This next 14 days will i feel be monumental in terms of avacta’s covid roll out. Testing has become very secondary ?

While al appears to have failed on his Q4 timeline, it’s very obvious avacta do have something very special with affimer technology. Although only £500k the latest ‘buy in’ to affirmer tech proves this works with another company. And as they had already tested the affirmer first before they signed the contract for £500k it’s more proof as you just wouldn’t do that otherwise. Powerful stuff now being accepted by more companies will indeed strengthen avactas share price. The world is still in a mess with covid and next month is a short time to wait for avacta to get it’s lfd to market when this covid nightmare will undoubtedly be around for years.

While we may be somewhat cheesed off re boris and lfd’s, i am sure venues, theatres, stadiums etc must be furious. No mention about such places to re open etc. The gov cannot expect to just let them dangle until whole country is vaccinated (not !!). The gov must be under pressure from such organisations. I just wonder what the game plan is ?

I feel i want to say lots of negative things about what we have been told. His rns’s are actually close on worthless, never mind his silly twitter and video chats. Inflection points ? Wtf is he going on about. And turner pope no better either. Well he’s got 14 days left of Q4 and then its resign time ? Lets hope not but he is looking out of his depth imo. Wouldn’t be surprised that medusa dumped him. You carn’t go round saying how great you are (as big as roche etc) without opening yourself up to criticism when you don’t deliver. Lets hope i eat my words very soon (next 14 days !!).

Also i might add this........Al said Q4, so upside is bams and lft, therefore a minimum of double yr money from this point. Downside if no news maybe to £1 ? .
It really is a no brainer to sell now, coz if you do sell and our 6 month wait hits (and if you think about it Q4 is a definite date (unlike soon or shortly) you really would have to have a great excuse for yourself to sleep well !!!!

I just don’t understand why some people are ‘selling up’. We have waited this far and while some may need money, (i get that) to sell all your holding may seem bizarre.
Al (if true) has said Q4 so why bail out for sake of 10 days ? . Yes i have had my neg hat on lately but hey......see this out. Dont sell now unless you really need to. (Inflections around the corner ???!!!!). Still ‘all in’.

While most here have been on the avacta rollercoaster this year we are now closing in on the real business end (covid). It is covid that has rocketed the share price (not cancer) and brought unforeseen riches to avacta (and long term holders). However with the vaccine now arrived and sports stadiums opening up (who would of believed that without a test !!) are the uk public bothered about testing ? Have we indeed been ‘overtaken’ by the media and the vaccine ? Are testing stocks going to fall and certainly as avacta has no current test in the market place will we fall more. Will big investors lose confidence while al does not deliver and not only that he contradicts his statements of delivering. However we all hold on our fear of loss and avacta MAY come good. I do believe many on here are currently in the lap of the gods whether if the public and media and the take up of the vaccine sees off avacta regardless of whether we ever launch a product or not.
Are the governments of the world bothered about a test before you get on a plane.......it would seem not at the moment ? Innova and others has/had a test but it wasn’t used to open up world flights so i question are we now needed like i once thought ? Obviously i hope we are in some way and al can at least deliver something, but i fear he is running out of time very quickly. Unless of course we get bad news from the vaccine and xmas covid goes through the roof and lockdown 3 starts end of jan..........and al still hasn’t hit the market place !!! He needs to deliver NOW.

So here we are over 9 weeks into Q4 and no news. 3 and a bit weeks left so news should be any day. I do think we will be part of this current delayed tender because of the use in tender doc of ‘affirmer’. This news should land this coming week. Trying to stay positive now.........but not easy !!!!
