MVarawa - read my first post this am. The political system has screwed over this country fro years. Even Thatcher. You need to sort the country out its not about national identities its a root and branch review to being effective. Big ideas are great but when you are not sorting the basics underlying fundamentals as I stated your chickens can come home to roost. Covid & Uncle Vlad have demonstrated the farce that has been decades of mis-mgmt by Tory & Labour. The average person are canon fodder to personal drive that these prats that govern us have.
This is what you get when you oust one PM ,the Tory party vote for what they deem is good for them to retain power, rather than the country. OK Sunak not the greatest but flip me........ the last week re market response would not have happened. As I said earlier you get what you deserve.
People ned to look at themselves & how a joke of a political system has not worked for 50 years. 35+ under Tory rule. The whole system is broken tax system most archaic & complicated in the world, a benefits system that is broken, continued gray train of PS pensions, immigration etc & of course a political system which a joke. I could go on we vote for this nonsense & we get what we deserve.
RNS. What people seem to forget is that any business listed or not discuss in confidence many aspects of the forward plan etc with a number of touchpoints with external advisors across a plethora of specialities. There is a potential answer, everything else is pure guff. Seeing some of the hysteria elsewhere is quite frankly the latest twist to underpin a targeted negative agenda.
Yes Flu v more important but hey good news is not as eye catching.
Moni - that is my last point. There are groups looking to dis credit for gain. Maybe not here but look elsewhere there is an agenda.
Read Irish Times no wrong doing found to date. Alot of conjecture. Insider trading, what about the allegation being used to benefit.
It's an allegation. It could be true it equally be false. The fact is that games can played under a smoke screen. Remember that CF said that an individual attempted to pressure him & other AIM stocks to providing info that was market sensitive. Could it be that OO have facilitated this for whatever reason.
I think someone is going in my green bin. Flip sake inflation recession etc. These will be short term adjs a year or so. Putin needs to be defeated & Xi put in his box. You notice that there was little kerfuffle when the US sailed 2 battleship's in the Taiwan straight. You have to show these imperialist bulky boys you mean business Putin is attempting to destroy Euro economies & destabilise countries by using energy. The twerp has planned this for over a decade. Xi is seeing how it pans out He needs defeating end of regardless of pain otherwise EBITDA everywhere let alone here will become irrelevant. If you can see that....
Get rid of Putin & inflation goes in a year. If we don't suffer inflation then he wins & Poland is next on empire build along with crackpot Xi we are in a proxy WW3 & energy has been weaponised.
Much bigger picture herem
Have to agree Richy - solid results. Interesting takeaway are that direct costs as % of revenue recognised are down c4% compared to last yr. If maintained assuming no-one off (see Hvivo*) then Op profit should increase at Yr End.
Hvivo - I recant that US listing being talked about, so expansion or other ducks aligning?
Just waiting for the post on operating profits, it will come............
Excellent but TP 21.6p.
Bose will announce an interest rate increase so market will be down later.
Utterly chuffin ridiculous, Considering that 10m transaction last week I topped up & I am 15% down on that.
I agree that a comparison would have helped but they decided not to. Cash is not linear in a business its moves around all over the place in a business cycle. In fact a few days can make a big difference if a customer is playing with their cash own cycles.
Having been in the scenario of managing a £6m working capital facility (ok slightly different), I can tell you now that you need to have full awareness of all the moving parts to ensure that you do not breach and if you have are having any difficulties is to be in full dialogue with the lender as early as possible. If you have good dialogue, expedite what you say your are going to do & then you may depending on the lender be able to flex aspects of the agreement via their client manager and hence their risk committee/structures. Along with an Non-Exec we managed to stabilise a basket case of a £35m business & eventually turn the thing around by getting mgmt to do what they should have done all along re-structure..
I hope the administrators will look at raising the titanic here but a re-structure will be demanded as part of the deal.
I have not used a green bin in a long while. Been far too busy for months but here we go
The other aspect here is the extended period of shorting activity on this stock. Why? Conspiracy theory or some indirect links in the whole fiasco.
