Steeltrader - AIM graph attached. Looks like there were opportuniites to make good money on AIM. For me, I have been in the wrong sector - Mining, and the wrong shares (yes, NVTA and ANGM for crying out loud, among others some of which have done OK). I'm currently in NRRP, SKR, BAO, ECR, KMR. Yes, I like a gamble. I balance this adrenaline ride with boring sensible stuff in the way of tracker funds and mutual funds. Yes, I think historically NRRP have had too many irons in the fire. To be fair, we have a change of management as you know, and things seem to be getting more focused now. David Steinpreis our ex-MD made a significant investment in the company after he left, showing faith in the new maangement and strategy (if he had insight to that). The Chinese loom in the background ... a welcome addition to the team though no-one seems sure how involved they (yet). Takeover - I suppose possible but I would hope that get muted more seriously when our sp is already closer to 2p than 1p, so we long-suffering can make a few bob too.

Generally I like the concept of focusing on fewer projects. For a company of NRRP's size and resources a fragmentation of focus can lead to nothing progressing. It's a shame to have sunk money into lapsed or given-up-on projects, but it's a brave decision to quit them nevertheless and it shows a resolve to bring Namib on quickly. IMO. JP

Bought top up today, 2,300 shares in several lots. Done the sums and this is a good investment 2 year horizon, IMHO A lot of buying action today actually, seems far from only me!

SP's held up pretty well considering the RNS today - do you guys think that the "bad news" was so expected that it was factored into an SP in the 20-25p range already? Or is the Plan B local auction at least commerically viable, if not a 1:1 replacement for the Singapore event?
