But most of all it shows NRRP's clear intent to bring the Namib project to production. NRRP already has serious people on the BoD to make this happen. Steinpreis knew this when he bought a load of shares a while back, so MF same.

Still mulling over it. Great that NRRP are being more aggressive in raising funds, but at what cost to PIs is the only question. NNRP needs funds to progress, so we have to go for it and are. What about the Chinese associations? Why not go that route or is that closed to us - surprising? Mr. He is very well connected - can put Chinese money our way now, now that the intent is transparent? That could happen quickly. That would be my bet - Chinese connections, heavy weight support. All thinking out loud ..

RNS today North River Resources plc ("North River") is pleased to announce that it has appointed VSA Capital as its joint broker, alongside Ocean Equities. VSA Capital has been appointed with a particular mandate to search for a strategic or financing partner to develop North River's flagship project, the brownfield Namib Lead-Zinc Project (the "Namib Project"), in Namibia. VSA Capital will also perform research and brokerage services to further enhance North River's presence in the capital markets, and help raise funds when necessary. North River has recently opened a data room to allow potential partners to conduct initial due diligence on the Namib Project, with a view to forming a development partnership later in the year.

Sorry Dan, it's 6 million dollar question isn't it? Correct answer - "nobody knows". That said, I am betting some of my money on the chance that it rises at a rate that is better than the interest I would get from the bank if I had the same money on deposit there. Unfortunately my starting point was 159p so I'm still playing catch up. I had a crystal ball fail :-)

From the past, for those interested : we were born in the heady days of 2006 to look for tin & tungsten in Australia, 750k raised for Coronet hill. This carried us two years, during this time the company were looking for other projects - interestingly this was with the help of a small group of shareholders, possibly a clue to the later complaint that the company did not communicate very well. At this time to assist with finding a project - one M.French was appointed NED. Agreed. IMO there's an underlying tone that the management are not putting in as much time and effort as they should/could. I would hope that the report and ensuing discussions revitalise managements' commitment and activity - the report clearly lays out the potential rewards for them as well as us contingent on positioning the company correctly. IMO a bit of a mixed bag. I would like to have seen more confidence in increasing sales of DAR as opposed to reliance on earth moving cash, and more confidence in SKR's fund raising ability. HOLD for me.

with the spread here we're going to have 8% type swings just cos of the spread. Unfortunately this share often has a 8% gap between the buy and sell price. Mid price is what LSE reports as the price, whereas Yahoo for instance reports the price of the last trade.
