The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
This RNS is like.... Poorly investor goes to the doctor ....."there's good news and bad news. Which do you want first, the good news or the bad news?"
From the Feb 26th RNS - states 60 days Acceptance of the Notice by North River triggers a further sixty day period during which the Company must submit a proposal to the Ministry addressing the Supplementary Conditions including, inter alia, local ownership of the Project; participation by previously disadvantaged Namibians in the management of the Project; and the corporate social responsibility strategy for Namib. The timetable under the Notice contains provisions for extensions to this timetable should agreement not be reached
I don't suppose we can expect anything to happen before the end of April.
"Data from the InterContinental Exchange (ICE) published on Monday showed that hedge fund and money managers have hiked their long positions, or bets, on the price of oil rising to record highs. Investors have increased their net long positions in internationally traded Brent crude from 22,171 lots to 342,460 in the week to March 1, which is the highest level on record, since ICE began collecting data in 2011. "
I'll take 100 110p in 18 months from now for a 40% gain + the divi myself, annualised to about 25%.

Where do you think this is going Liberalman?
Good volumes driving this one now. Onwards and upwards. JP
http://www.kitcometals.com/charts/zinc_historical_large.html Yes, great news. Sharply of a very low point. Long may it continue - tighter inventories and higher prices. The 5 year charts attached are interesting. Cheers
Hi there, I'm well thanks. I really do see 1p at some point if all progresses well and without further dilution. Greenstones' intentions are a risk that could scupper the small PIs, but currently I see no evidence of mal-intent. Just shades of incompetence form the Board, which ain't great. However, we have the hole in the ground. At least we don't have to start digging. As I understand it, its even a nice dry hole with good intercepts. We do need metal prices to go up - or the income when it comes, will go to servicing the loans.
Steady Eddie here as usual :-)
No doubt that this should be heading quickly to 360-380p based on strength of the major miners in the first 3 days of this week.
Yes, 100% agreed. No brainer, as they say. JP
This is starting to look like a good contrarian play with a high yield. Next stop 65p Roll up, roll up!
Are we off to the races here? Hope so. JP
Hi Olli, I am averaged at 0.75p and will sell when it all comes together - license in the bag, off-take agreements in place, extraction started and a healthier metal price. Perhaps that will be north of 1p. 1 penny would give me a 33% profit (before tax), which I will have waited patiently for 4+ years for. Buying NRRP at the levels I did was a mistake I cannot undo, all I can do now is chose my moment to sell wisely. If you were well in profit at 0.16p then you are lucky/wise to have waited for these lows to buy in at. Good luck.
Well Dan, all is not lost. At least not yet. And it may all turn out well. The license is not lost, though I wouldn't put it past this Board to lose it in the sense of leaving it on the train, or letting it slip down the back of the sofa, or the dog eats it giving the classic excuse of "Miss, the dog ate my homework/license/off take agreement/work permit". I highly recommend that you, as an investor, read the last few RNSs very carefully. Very carefully. May I also recommend that you buy a copy of 'The Naked Trader' (search it on t'internet) which may, your God willing, help your investing be profitable. I sense you are new to this game. Please read well - please consider ALL your options and know the difference between investing and gambling. Gambling is ok as long as you know when you're doing it. We are doing it here now at NRRP. Have a punt here, have a punt in PFP or ZZZ or REM. Invest where capital is being utilized efficiently, in a growing market, in a well regulated environment, with a company with a great Board and great governance/compliance. And with income. Keep NRRP and the likes as a small % of your p/f as they could make you a million but they are more likely to go tits up. That's a fact. Subscribe to the Weekend FT and read it cover to cover - the most valuable articles are the ones that don't interest you. Force yourself, every word, cover to cover every week. Only then can you ask questions like you just did below .... Good luck my friend. JO
Previously disadvantaged Namibians. Ministers maybe? Local ownership. Ministers maybe?
The news could be that we submitted the requested documents on time. However, I am not sure that that constitutes RNS-able news as such. It might keep the s.p. ticking along though. The next news we need is the license issued. Then date for mining and off-take agreements (but not at today's prices) - we need higher prices. License now or license later - we need higher prices, end of.
