It is just a "research collaboration" not a licencing deal (yet)
When someone signs on the dotted line and stumps up some cash we may well get £100m added to the MCap (10p/share)

The reality is it is impossible to put a value on a very early stage research biotech with no approved products and no revenue. Any value between 5p and 40p could be considered "realistic". The only thing disconnected from reality are some of the investors here.

No, I don't think a takeover is indicated, nor would I want it at that level.

The minimum wage in SA is around £1 per hour - that's the lucky ones with jobs.
There will be plenty of volunteers who would be happy with £10.

So when the SP rises it's because "somebody knows something" but when it falls it's not because "somebody knows something" because there is nothing to know - hilarious.

I think the significant difference is:

The Covidity trial recruits are HEALTHY Volunteers. Their only incentive is financial reward. It is quite right and proper they get paid.

With other trials, for example MODI1, the incentive is that you may extend your life. In this case, payment would not be appropriate or indeed wanted.
