Ratty, totally agree with you interpretation of events - someone, in the know, who are now more in the know than they were when they made a big investment, at a price above their not so much in the know investment, following some pretty encouraging news - should be taken as a huge positive.

Just my observation and views on the last few posts....

For me, the pertinent phrases are “timelines” and “jam tomorrow”.
The dominant issue with this investment and this potentially life saving treatment is TIME or more accurately, the passage of time. In the short term, this gets us to “tomorrow”. Whether or not this brings the long awaited “jam” remains to be seen.

Either way, time will reveal all. In time we will know how effective the treatments are and, if successful, how much in pounds and pennies each of the shares we currently hold are worth.

Time is what is needed and cannot be skipped or accelerated. But as they say, time is money. Each delay will have a financial impact. So our expected £1 or whatever will be £1 minus value of time delay. A simple concept but an inescapable one.

I never expected it to drop below 10p - it did.
I never expected it to drop below 7p - it did.
I never expected it to drop below 5p - it did.
I never expected it to drop to 3.6p (below the original placing price) - it did.

So if it drops to 3p do you get the bazooka out? Who's to say it won't drop to 2p?
I guess there will come a point where an investment would be sensible. Just after it has fallen followed by some positive news. Best to buy on the way up than on the way down I think.

Not necessarily, the smaller the sp the greater the dilution when a fundraise takes place. Id rather be issuing 60M shares at 10p than 150M at 4p in order to raise £6M.

Yes, whether they NEED to issue an RNS is irrelevant. The BOD promised they would.
Therefore, no RNS = no patient dosed (yet). It’s quite a simple concept.

I agree, the going concern check is about being able to pay Hmrc and creditors where the debt is greater than assets. There are many companies that are loss making. Scancell have a track record of simply issuing more shares (as does VAL) in order to raise funds.
Personally I can’t see any issues for Scancell on this score.

C7 well I agree - with nom and berm. We won’t make it to 2021 with the existing reserves. Maybe til fall 2020.

Thanks Bermuda. The tax credits could stretch the cash an extra 3 to 4 months then. Still doesn’t get us to 2021 though.
