You bring up a very valid point - lack of data. At the moment, there is so much we just don’t know. And whilst we all hope that this will conform to the pattern of other viruses, until we have enough data we have to be cautious about making predictions let alone quoting figures like 99.9% certain.
In the meantime it is only right all efforts go into finding vaccines.

So let’s take away the chance they may not contract covid, or contract it and survive, we’ll kill them off with a vaccine! Lol.

If you test it in under 55s and half die, there’s a good chance it isn’t going to be too good for over 55s.

Better a bit of thought and research than jumping to a wrong conclusion. Unfortunately, unlike you, the scientific community weren’t born knowing everything. They have to do research, experiments and lots of hard work. You know, the sort of hard work that results in papers you can then cut and paste.

Inan, in my book, challenging erroneous arguments is part of debating. You have claimed you can’t get covid twice and that a melanoma treatment is more valuable than a covid vaccine. I have questioned both of these views but more than happy to hear any expanded arguments from you or anyone....

I’m all for the Scancell approach. I was challenging Inan’s assertion that you can only get covid once - a view not held by any respected scientist at the moment.

There are around 132,000 Melanoma cases per year, COVID-19 potentially millions so surely COVID-19?

Higher risk of adverse reaction perhaps?

We are in the same boat, booked to go to Tenerife next month, that ain’t gonna happen. Then comes the getting your money back, that ain’t gonna be easy. If I do get it back, might put it into Scancell. Then you have the excitement of whether the Tenerife trip money will fund a trip to Australia or a weekend in Skegness. ATB.

Not supposed to come back? We were on the assisted passage scheme not transportation!
The deal was, if you returned home within 2 years, you had to pay back the full cost. We were there Long enough to fulfil the two year criteria.
