Ray has posted the formula but as a example:

Cliff H is on a salary of 250K per annum.
25% of this is £62,500

So one million shares at 6.25 would equal the £62,500 (the salary sacrifice)
So he would have to make 6.2p per share to cover the salary reduction.
He has an exercise price of 8.15p, so the SP would need to be 6.25+8.15 =14.40p to cover the loss.

You may be ignorant of the recognition, accolades and awards bestowed on one of the companies founders - professor Lindy Durrant. You may be ignorant of the passion she displays in hunting down a cure, yes, cure for cancer. You may be ignorant of the fund raising means, history and amounts as well as the background of some of the major backers. You may be ignorant of the two children cured of bone cancer back in 2008, at least one of whom now has children of her own.

So if you want to jump aboard on the Covid train and jump off at the next stop, please do so. But if you want to come here and offer opinions, please DO SOME RESEACH FIRST.

C7, I was very tempted to respond to older last night but felt you should have first go. Now that you have I would say you have been one of THE most positive and optimistic posters over the years. Just like you, I would describe your recent stance as realistic rather than negative, moving to very positive lately.

I feel very positive about the covid involvement, although it is difficult to put a shareholder value on it even assuming it is successful. Any funding for covid is likely to be ring fenced and the question remains who would own the IP. I guess these uncertainties will continue to fuel swings in the SP.

The rise is a result of buyers paying the ask. So possibly the investors are stupid. The “rise” itself which is merely a consequence, in itself cannot be described as “stupid”.
Perhaps the word you were grasping for was “surprising” or “unsustainable” or even “unfathomable”. Perhaps time will allow you to fathom it.

Exactly right. Early in 2012 the share was 5p. In August, following the Moditope discovery announcement it went over 60p. I think the intraday high was about 64p and it closed in the high 50’s. This wasn’t over a weekend as was suggested earlier but over the course of a few months.

Well it’s only taken from 1715 to get here.
