Evening C7, hope you are keeping well?

Read your posts with interest as ever. Had to go back over my own posts to make sure nothing I said would erode sentiment. Relived to confirm I hadn’t.

As for impatience, I may have felt some 5/6 years ago into an investment I thought would bare fruit after 3/4 years but that’s long gone now. I’ve been waiting so long now I am past caring. It may come good but if it doesn’t who cares? Well not me anyway.

The initial excitement over Covid soon dissipated. Maybe it will re-ignite with some new updates soon, who knows. It is a shame that we as investors having been told what is going on within Scancell, how the current situation has affected the trials, research etc. But never mind.

I wouldn’t get too concerned about newbies being put off by the shenanigans of a BB. 1) if we are reliant on a bunch of green behind the ears newbies to boost the SP then we’re all in trouble and 2)
Anyone who is serious about investing a substantial amount of money here will do their own research.

Spot on. I thought exactly the same when I listened to Cliff Holloway interview on Sky. Far too much about the technicalities about how it works and not enough about the impact it could have on the current very grave situation, how fast they could do it, how easy and cheap to manufacture and how much it would cost. You never know, someone watching could have bought into the story and offered to stump up the cash.

We've had 8 pages of posts on the "science" today already and one line whooping about a 600K buy that turned out to be a sell!

Do you think the only thing stopping Scancell coming up with an effective, long term vaccine money or do you see any scientific hurdles to overcome?

Apologies Inan, I just realised what has sparked your psychotic episode, I mentioned 1p.

This was an illustration of two extremes £1 vs 1p. It was in no way supposed to be a forecast. It it was, then £1 would rank pari passu. I could have said I’d rather it go up to £8 rather than .8p just two extremes, both as unlikely as each other.

I do understand where you are coming from. The ideal investment is one that just goes up! This gives you the option of taking profits, holding or buying more if you think it will continue to rise. Anyone who thinks an investment that collapses is a good opportunity to buy more will be caught out in most cases. I’d rather see this make £1 and cash in rather than 1p so I can buy more. Like you, I have stated I will not buy more unless there is a compelling reason. My last buy was three years ago at 10p as Inan likes to remind everyone periodically for some reason.

I did consider whether the Covid connection might present a new buying opportunity but my attempts to discuss this here were simply met with abuse from a certain quarter.

I like the TD approach, well researched and well presented and I too would commend any new and potential investors to read as a starting point for the commercial case. The science is well covered by presentations and posters on the Scancell website. I think the majority of lths here have a good grasp of the science to a level sufficient to aid in the investment making decisions. For those that don’t understand- there’s always cut and paste! (Joking!}

TF, I’m not sure why there are so many scared of dilution. 60% of an asset that doubles is worth more than 100 of an asset that doesn’t.

Aren’t we all confident that the SP will double if we get £10M to progress all platforms?

There’s been a lot of talk around funding for both the cancer and covid side of the business.
Any opinions as to how much Scancell will have to invest up front in order to attract outside funding? Will this make the need for a fundraise sooner than we might otherwise expected? Will these upfront costs in respect of the Covid research be reimbursed from any future funding that might be raised?
