RE: Why Avidity = great MABS16 Jun 2020 12:00
Inan,
I appreciate that you may be content with no tangible progress in either medical or financial terms.
Maybe you get all the excitement you need from reading scientific papers.
However, there are many here who genuinely want to 1) see many peoples lives improved and extended and 2) see a financial return as a reward for their faith and patience.
Some of us think it is important rather than “boring” to understand the level of frustration amongst holders, some of us very long term and to understand why others aren’t piling in.
I won’t give my own opinion, but that of Cliff Holloway CEO of Scancell....
When he joined as CEO in October 2017 he said
“Great science leads to great products, great products lead to great data and great data leads to great deals”
We were led to believe that we would, from our great products, collect data over the course of the following two years (2018/2019) on SCIB1, SCIB2 and MODI1, and.......
We would monetise assets in the short to medium term.
So here we are in the middle of 2020 still waiting for a single patient to be dosed yet on any platform. Possibly the best chance of a patient being dosed is Covidity?
Now I’m not saying there aren’t reasons for the delay and I’m not trying to pin the blame on anyone. But, these are the plain simply facts and the reason why I’m frustrated and possibly the reason why others are too.
We can bury our heads in the sand and say it isn’t so, but IMO it is.
