Ok, I concede you, Ray and TF are correct.
I tried to get the figure as round as possible, 1, 10, 100 and 1000 are easier to work with than 900% or 11 years.
The principle I was trying to get across was an apparent enormous rise Of 900% or 1000% If taken over a long period of time is a much smaller annual % (26%).

Thanks for the correction, that’s what these boards are about, everyone contributing something in order to get a clearer and more accurate picture.

The proportion of the final value would indeed be 900%. The percentage increase on the original value is 1000%.
You have fallen into the markup v margin trap. If you apply a 25% markup you will make 20% profit margin.

Don’t forget, although I have been quite conservative, they are based on the assumption that:
The trials are successful
The funding to take them through trials is obtained
Or
The Cost of trials has been taken on by a third party through a licensing deal.

If a deal is done, they may want a discount to counter their taking on the risk.

In terms of translating the market capitalisation to SP, you need to take into account through any cash raises.

Maybe if a realistic valuation, timescale and equating it to an annual return falls short of your own expectation, maybe you would view it as negative.

I haven’t looked at Avidimab and glycans in detail. I wouldn’t know where to start tbh.

You need to factor in the grade of stone as well. Pea gravel will be different to large granite chips.

Well, that’s the whole point, time is money.
What looks like a very lucrative investment with the possibility of being a 5, 10 or 20 bagger is soon eroded once time consumes money, dilutes your investment and reduces the market opportunity.
The annual rate of return then becomes extremely modest.
On the flip side, the losses over 8 years don’t look as bad annualised! :)

No I said an ANNUITY purchased for one million would pay you a pension for life of around £35K.
It was an example of an upfront lump sum payment for something recouped over a long time.
I didn’t say I had bought one or indeed recommended it as an investment over other vehicles.

Well done with your properties though, looks like it turned out well for you. I don’t suppose you ever thought of selling them and pumping it all into Scancell?
